"I will give mine where do we run the tests?" I asked facing the doctor

Call it trying to prove something but anyone even a blind man would see just how much Mariana meant to her.

I had already called Jonathan since his family owns the leading hospitals in the city but he said they isn't any available at moment. I don't know but it was as if kidneys were on strike.

"I won't even ask you if you're sure you really want to do this since I'm so desperate right now" Lolita said

"I understand "

"Very well if you are certain you want to do this follow me, there isn't much time" the doctor said

I looked at Lolita and watched as she took few steps till she was in front of me, standing on her toes she pulled her face closer to mine.

Is she going to kiss me because heaven knows I won't mind

"Thank you" she whispered as I felt her breath on my ear.

Covering my disappointed face with a smile I nodded to her and followed the doctor.

It was time, the tests proved I was compatible. Once Lolita heard it she jumped into my arms telling me how grateful she was for what I was doing.

Damn, if I knew being compatible will give me a chance to hold her this close and inhale her scent I would done the bloody tests a lot sooner.

Minutes later, dressed in a hospital gown and a shower cap like thing on my head and placed on a stretcher I was ready for surgery. I watched Lolita say soothing words to Mariana right before she was wheeled into the operating room.

"I can't thank you enough for what you're doing" she said holding my hand. I don't want her to let go of my hand, her smooth soft-

Jesus, boy this is not the time

"I'm only doing it for the little blonde who I'm beginning to crush on" I teased as she laughed

"She will be glad" she said " I already spoke to Maria and Christian they will be here by the time you're out"

I nodded as I noticed her tear up "whats wrong?" I asked

"I'm scared" she whispered "I don't want to imagining losing you too at the same time"

"Ssh don't say that, you won't lose anyone wait for us OK?"

"Okay"

The anesthesia was slowly wearing in as I felt my eyes close and being wheeled in not before I felt her lips on mine.

How long does it take to transfer a kidney from one person to another, they both have been in there for hours.

Please God let them both come out okay

Just then Maria and Christian walked in

"Lola dear how are they?" Maria asked as she engulfed me in a hug

"They are still in surgery, I'm so scared Maria" I said as she squeezed me tighter

"Don't be dear, they will both come fine" Maria assured

"Hey" Christian said as he came up to hug me

"Hi" I responded "I'm so sorry for making you come here I'm sure you have classes"
