HEAL ME

CHAPTER 18

Do you think there's such a thing as falling in love too fast or too soon, honestly speaking I don't because your heart has a mind of it's own we never know when it decides to fall in love or not and that's the amazing thing about love....it just happens.

I have been awake for minutes now the minute I woke up and saw his face I instantly knew he was the reason I haven't had nightmares for weeks it was the first time and also the reason for my sheepish smile.

I ran my fingers through his beard it felt pricking but nice and, I traced the outline of his lips then I placed a kiss on it.

"I love you" I whispered as I continued to stroke his beard

"I love you too" Andre responded as he opened his eyes

"Holy mother of Israel!!!" I screamed as I jumped out of the bed

"Well good morning to you too" He said

I placed my hand dramatically on my now fast beating heart "Jesus Christ are you trying to give me a heart attack"

"No" he said as he got off the bed and walked towards me

"I thought you were sleeping"

"I was till you started touching me" he teased

I playfully punched his stomach
"Shut up"

He laughed as I took deep breaths to calm myself down

"I love you" Andre repeated as he held my hands

"Andre.."

"No let me finish, I have been having this feeling for you for so long and I didn't know how to tell other than with my action....I have been awake since you started stroking my beard but when you uttered those three words"

He brought my fingers to his mouth and kissed it "Those three words I have been dying to tell you Lolita,  but have been too scared to do so but knowing you love me back just made my morning ......I love you Lolita so much "

By now I had tears streaming down my eyes, tears of joy, happiness and love "I love you too Andre"

And with that he carried me up and kissed me, I instantly folded my legs around his waist and kissed him back putting my love and happiness into it.

"Mine" he said

"Yours, only yours"

"I have a question?" I said

"Shoot"

I and Andre were in the garden taking in some fresh air with ice cream what better way to spend an afternoon.

"Does this mean I'm not your maid anymore?"

"Certainly, I can't have my girlfriend be the maid in my house" he answered

"Ohh.. I guess I have to look for another job then" I said as I took another spoon of ice cream into my mouth

"Another job?" Andre asked with widened eyes "Why do you need another job"

"Because I am saving up for college...I actually found a school and an apartment close to it so I need the money that's why" I said

"You found a choice of school and an apartment already why didn't you tell me"

"No reason in particular with everything happening lately it just slipped my mind"

"So what school did you choose?"

"University of Alabama"

"University of what?! Jesus Lolita that's far from here"

"But it's cheaper for me to afford and it's a good school"
