After that nightmare, I didn't go back to sleep, so I was tired. I groan as I get ready for work, cause I am not going back to sleep. I check the time. 6:50. I still have an hour before we have to wake up. I leave a note for Judy saying: Went for a walk, I'll meet you at work. I open the door and leave. I breathe in the fresh air from outside. Zootopia is a really beautiful place. I walk around not knowing what to do because all the stores are closed around this time. I guess I could take a jog. So I started jogging around the neighborhood. While I was jogging I was looking for a breakfast joint because I forgot to get something to eat. I was still jogging before I just finally gave up looking. I stopped jogging and started walking to work. "Cotton!" Someone calls. I turn around to see Gideon. I stop walking and wait for him to catch up. " Hi!" He greets as he finally reaches me. "Morning" I say back. "Where you headin?" He asked. "To work" I say as I continue walking. "Oh, can I walk with you?" He asks. "sure, but keep up" I say and I could've sworn I saw his face turn into those of which you win something. We continue walking in silence. When we finally reach the building, I turn to him. "So are you leaving or did you want to actually come with Nick, Judy and I?" I ask. He looks down at his feet and mumbles a 'I wanted to come'. I sigh. "Come on." I say as I enter the building and he follows closely behind. Clawhouser was there at his desk, with a box of donuts. "Clawhouser!" I call. He looks at me. I smirk and say," Donut me!" Clawhouser smiles and throws me donut. I jump up and catch it. "Thanks!" I call back. Gideon just looks surprised. We walked into the room where everyone meets, and sit down. We wait in silence until we hear the door open. I turn to see Nick and Judy. Nick looks confused as to why Gideon is here and Judy is just surprised. "Hi Judy, sup Nick" I say. They greeted me back. "What's Gideon doing here?" Judy asks me. "He wanted to come along, I guess he was bored and his shop wasn't ready yet." I say as I shrug. Judy nods and sits down next to Nick. Soon enough Nick notices my donut. "Where did you get that donut Cotton?" He asks. "Surprise" I say. He raises an eyebrow. "I know you didn't buy that thing, so where did you get it cotton tail?" He asks again. I groan because I hate that nickname. "Over my dead body Nick" I say while blowing a rasberry towards him. He gets up and walks over to me. All of a sudden he starts tickling me! I laugh and laugh. "Okay! Hahaha! Okay! I'll- Hahahaaa- tell you!" I say laughing. "I...got it from Clawhouser!" I say. I pant out of eshaustion. "Clawhouser!? Out of all the times I've asked him, he instantly says yes to you? So unfair!" He says. "Aw does the big baby foxy want a donut?" I tease. I split the donut in half and give one half to him. He starts eating it quickly. I chuckle. "You could've asked" I say. He shrugs. Gideon just looks like he's seen something he never thought would happen. Everyone else starts to fill in the room. Boss walks in and gives us street patrol once again. We all pile up in the car, with me, Gideon, and Nick in the back while Judy is driving.
