I internally groan. I just continued walking. "Cotton! Look I'm sorry! Cotton please!" He pleads. "No" I say. "What?" He asks. "I said NO. I tried to help you but no, you lash out at me for no reason! I'm not having it Gideon Grey. I'm done. I thought we were actually friends for once." I said. Tears were building up at the corners of my eyes. He seems surprised. I ignore him and get back in the car. Nick drives off leaving him in the dust. I am exaughsted by the time I go home. I plop down onto my bed. I sigh. "Home is where the bed is." I mumble. Judy laughs. Someone knocks at the door. I get up and open the door. "What do you want?" I growl. "I'm sorry Cotton! I didn't mean to lash out at you! I was just really stressed about something and took it out on you! I'm sorry!" He pleads. "What was so stressful to you that you lash out?" I ask. He blushes a dark red. I raise an eyebrow. He leans in closer to me. Thinking he was just going to whisper it to me so Judy couldn't hear, I stayed still. I look at him and blush a little as he was just getting closer and closer. Next thing I find him kissing me. My eyes widen. He pulls away. He was like, A really deep red. "I was just really stressed about you liking me back or not." He says quietly. He turns to leave. "Wait!" I say quickly. He turns around with hope in his eyes. "What would you say if I said that I would give you a chance?" I ask. He brightens up. I smile back at him. I go back inside. I look to see Judy smirking. "Just get on with it already." I say. "I told you s-" She began but was cut off when we both heard someone screaming 'YIPPEE' outside. I look out the window and Judy follows me. We burst out laughing to see Gideon dancing in the street.
