London
The Next Day, The Home Phone Rang And My Mom Called For Me To Get It. I Answered The Phone, And It Was Someone I Didn't Know.
"London King? This Is Martin, Zero's Manager, He Will Like You To Accompany Him To Dinner At The Brio, Today At Eight. Is That Alright With You?"
I Weighed My Thoughts.
"Yes, But I Could Ask My Parents For Confirmation---"
"Great, He'll See You Soon."
The Call Ended.
I Placed The Phone On The Hook, And Anxiousness Filled Me. What Am I Going To Wear? I Walked Into Mom's Room, And Held My Hands.
"Can I Go Somewhere Today?" I Asked, Nervously.
My Dad Looked Up From His Notepad, And Shook His Head. I Gritted My Teeth.
"I Wasn't Asking You. I Was Asking Mom." I Said, Sharply.
Dad Clicked His Pen, And Stood Up. Mom Said Dad's Name Warningly.
"You Think You're A Woman Now? If Your Such A Woman Move Out, And Once You Leave You're Not Coming Back." Dad Said.
That Stung Like Crazy.
"I Never Said That. You're Always Shielding Me From The Real World, And It's Your Fault Lauren Is The Way She Is." I Explained.
My Dad Approached Me, And Furrowed His Eyebrows.
"Lauren Is The Way She Is Because She Didn't Listen To Us. The More I'm Looking At You, The More Disappointment I Seek---"
"Reed, Stop It!" Mom Yelled.
Tears Formed In My Eyes.
"You Know What, I'm Leaving. I'll Pack My Things When I Get Back. As Of Right Now---" I Took My Phone Off Of Their Dresser. "Don't Call Me."
I Stormed Out Of Their Room, And Out Of The House. I Heard Lucas Calling To Me, But I Kept Walking. I Have Some Spare Change In My Purse But Not Enough To Get Me On The Bus. I Looked Down At My Phone, Absently.
Zero.
I Can Call Him, And Hopefully He Could Pick Me Up. I Remembered The Number Because I'm Still Excited About The Dinner Situation. Please Pick Up The Phone.
"This Is Martin, Zero's Manager, He's Not Around Right Now So Call Back---"
"Martin! It's Me, London." I Said As I Stopped Walking.
"London? The Girl From The Audition?" He Questioned.
He Must Be A Busy Man If He Forgot That Quickly.
"Yeah, That's Me. I Need A Favor..."

I Pulled My Knees Closer Toward My Chest, And Heaved Out A Breath. Where Is Zero? He Should've Been Here To Pick Me Up Twenty Minutes Ago.
A Car Pulled Up Along The Sidewalk, And Excitement Rolled Up Inside Me Again. I Stood Up, And The Window Rolled Down Revealing Two Guys I Didn't Know.
They Got Out Of The Car, And Approached Me. My Excitement Turned Into Fear.
"What's Good Ma'?" The Tall One Asked Me.
I Folded My Arms, And Gave Him A Look.
"Are You Deaf? Trev Just Asked You A Question, Now Answer Him." The Other Guy Demanded.
