The Next Day
I Just Finished My Concert And My Meet And Greet. Someone Tapped My Shoulder And I Turned Around To See Who It Was.
"Aren't You London King?" The Guy Asked. "I'm A Big Fan."
"That's Sweet. What's Your Name?" I Answered.
"Manny."
Manny? Didn't Zero Say Something About His Best Friend Stabbing Him In The Back And His Name Was Manny? Or Was It Something Else?
"Oh Okay, My Boyfriend's Best Friend's Name Was Manny. What A Coincidence."
"Yeah It Is But, That's Not Me. I Wish I Was Zero's Best Friend. I Was Wondering If I Could Take You To Dinner."
"Dinner? Aren't You Aware That I'm Already Spoken For?" I Explained.
"It's Nothing Like That, It's Just An Adoring Fan That Wants To Spend An Evening With You." I Gave Him A Look. "We're In Front Of People, So I Can't Tie You Up And Leave You In The Basement."
I Chuckled.
"Fine. I'll Go. You're Paying Though." I Stated.
"Works For Me."

Manny Pulled Out The Chair For Me, And I Sat Down. Manny Took A Seat Across From Me.
"Have You Been To This Restaurant Before?" He Asked.
"I'm Not Familiar With Anything Outside Of Los Angeles And Chicago."
"You From Chicago?" He Asked As He Looked Through The Menu.
"Yeah."
"That's Cool. I'm From Atlanta."
"Why'd You Move?" I Asked As I Sipped My Water.
"Wasn't A Good Place For Me, I Guess." He Admitted.
I Looked At Manny. He Wasn't A Bad Looking Guy With His Soft Brown Eyes, And The Waves In His Hair. I Have To Admit, He's Eye Candy.
Zero
I'd Tried Calling London But She's Not Answering Her Phone. I Called Carey, And She Instantly Picked Up.
"Have You Heard From London?" I Asked.
"Hi Zero. I'm Fine, How About You? Great. No I Haven't Seen London In A While, Why?"
"I Called Her Three Times And She Hasn't Answered Yet." I Explained.
"She's Probably Doing Interviews, Or She's In A Spot With No Reception."
I Chewed On My Bottom Lip.
"Alright. Thanks." I Said In Deep Thought.
"Mmhm."
I Ended The Call, And Began To Think.
I Made A Few Calls To Get My Private Jet. I Want To Surprise London Today, And The Only Way I Could Get There Fast Is My Jet.
London
"What Do You Like To Do For Fun?" I Asked As I Twirled My Pasta With My Fork.
"Um, I Like To Write. So On My Free Time I'll Make Children Books And Read It To The Students At A Preschool." Manny Explained As He Wiped The Side Of His Mouth.
