I Heard The Front Door Open, And I Ran Towards The Door To See Zero All Tore Up. I Tilted My Head In Confusion, And Rested My Hand On His Face.

"What Happened To You?" I Asked As I Viewed A Somewhat Cast On His Arm.

He Walked Upstairs Into His Bedroom, I Followed Him. Zero Opened His Dresser Up, And Got Out A Wrap For His Arm. Zero Faced Me And Shrugged His Shoulders.

     "Nothing." He Answered.

I Let Out A Harsh Chuckle.

"When Are You Going To Be Honest With Me? I'm Obviously Not The Person Who Is Going To Hurt You If You Let One Real Thing Come Out Of Your Mouth." I Stated.

"One Real Thing? I Told You My Name, Isn't That Enough?" He Asked, Bitterly.

      "No---"

"I Really Don't Want To Have This Conversation Right Now. Once You Step Out Of This Room, Shut Off The Light." He Demanded.

Zero Got In The Bed, And Turned On His Side. I Pursed My Lips Together, And Walked Out. I Didn't Even Bother To Reach For The Light.

Zero

I Remember When I Was Obsessed With Tupac When I Was Little. My Dad Used To Play His Music All The Time Until My Mom Forced Him To Turn It Off Due To All The Cursing. That's Probably Why I Have Such A Potty Mouth Now. Anyway, When I Was One My First Word Was Tupac.

I Surprised My Mom, And She Began To Think. In The Late Winter Of 1995, My Mom Had Snuck Me Backstage Of One Of Tupac's Concerts And She Managed To Let Me See Him In Person. To This Day, I Don't Know How She Did It. She'll Always Change The Story To Make It Sound Like She's A Superhero In A Comic. The One Thing That Stuck In My Memory, Till' This Day Was His Smile.

When I Was About Ten, I Realized That Tupac Hasn't Made Any Recent Songs. I Usually Snuck Into Those Music Shops, And Listened To Him But It Was The Same Songs Over And Over. My Mom Had To Break It Down To Me That He Got Shot A Year After He Met Me. That's When My Whole Life Changed. I Started To Do Bad In School, Act Out At Home, And Sometimes Not Come Home At All. Until I Realized That I Want To Do Something With My Life, And That's Where My Rapping Career Began.

Whenever I Have A Tough Time Tupac Manages To Slip Into My Dreams. I Don't Know If It's Actually Him, But I Like To Believe It Is. I'm Standing In A Dark Room With One Light Above Me. Tupac Steps Out, And Looks At Me.

"You Straight?" He Asked.

I Shook My Head.

"Look Man, I Know You're Dealing With A Lot Of Shit But Don't Take It Out On Your Girl. She's The Only Real One You Got." Tupac Stated.

I Shrugged My Shoulders.

"Yeah, I Guess. I Just Need To Vent To Someone---"

"Then Rap About It. Place Your Feelings Into A Piece A Paper And Spit All That Into A Microphone. Everyone Will Know What You're Going Through, And They'll Support You." Tupac Encouraged.

I Looked At My Shoes.

"I'll Support You." He Added.

I Met My Gaze At Him, And He Nodded His Head. Tupac Wrapped His Arm Around Me, And Chuckled.

"Come On Baby Boy. Make A Hit For Me A'ight." He Said.

"I Got You."

I Scrolled Through Instagram To View Pictures Of Me And Zero's Breakup. Different Pages Has Different Stories That Never Took Place. What Are They Even Talking About? I Tapped My Camera Button, And Began To Record.

"Hey Everyone. It's Your Girl London, And I Just Want To Clear The Air. Me And Zero Are Fine, Weren't Broken Up. We Had An Argument At My Album Release Party But We Fixed Things. I Also Have A Surprise For All Of My Fans. I'll See Y'all Later, Bye." I Blew A Kiss To The Phone, And Ended The Recording.

I Posted The Video, And Watched As The Views Increased. I Placed My Phone Into My Pocket, And Stormed Into Zero's Room. I Sat On Top Of Him, And Slammed My Fist Into His Stomach.

"The Hell Is Wrong With You?" He Asked As He Shot Up Which Almost Knocked Me Off Of Him.

"Talk To Me, Please." I Begged.

Zero Balanced Himself On His Elbows, And Looked At Me.

"Please."

Zero Clenched His Jaw, And Explained To Me What Happened To Him. He Even Told Me Who Manny Was.

"Your Own Best Friend Doing That To You. That's Sad." I Said Afterward.

"Yeah." Zero's Eyes Opened Wide. "I Have To Go Do Something."

He Gently Moved Me Off Of Him, And Went Out Of The Bedroom. I Followed Him Downstairs Into The Studio. He Hit The Record Button, And Began To Rap. This Is Exactly What He Said:

My Name Is Zero, And This Is My Life Story/
My Dad Played Tupac All Day Long, Until Mom Complained About Hearing The Same Songs/
I Loved All Of Them, I Don't Know Why She Was Complaining/
Shit, Maybe She Was Just Hating/
When I Heard That He Got Shot/
My Clock On The Dot Stopped/
Everything In My Life Felt Like It Dropped/
I Felt Like I Lost A Lot/
But In All Reality, That's When It All Started/
It's Funny How Tragedy Can Be Your Worst Enemy/
You End Up Saying 'Are You Kidding Me?'/
It Just Opens Your Eyes Enough To What You Couldn't See/
And That's When My Career Came To What It Is To Be/
Sure I Mess Up Sometimes But I'm Not Perfect/
But I Will Own Up To It, If My Life Depends On It.

He Stopped All Of A Sudden. I Looked At Him Through The Glass. Zero Had His Hands Landed Against The Microphone Stand, And His Breathing Was Fast. I Walked Inside And I Approached Him Slowly.

"Zero?" I Asked As I Laid My Hand On His Back. "Are You Alright?"

He Looked At Me And He Had Tears In His Eyes, And Streams Down His Cheeks.

"Dominick. And No, I'm Fucked Up."

He Slung His Arms Around Me And Cried Into My Shoulder. I Couldn't Help But Let My Tears Fall As Well. We Slowly Slid Onto The Ground, And Let Our Puddle Of Tears Consume Us. We're Going To Get It Together, No Matter What It Takes.

"I Love You." He Said As He Tried To Pull Himself Together. "I'd Rather Argue With You, Than Not Have You In My Life."

"I Love You Too." I Sobbed.
