"Was that Supposed to Hurt?"

Found another cool writing prompt from Pinterest and wanted to write a one-shot about it. Hope you enjoy!

Marinette possessed a power. A power very few people knew about and even fewer had experienced. The power of the Miraculous stones. The magic of the stones had the ability to change a normal person into a superhero. They were only given to the people who were found worthy. Marinette was one of those few people. She was kind, sweet, determined, independent, and selfless with or without her Ladybug mask and costume, yet she was confident only with the mask. She always put people before herself, and that's the exact reason she was in the situation she was in right now.

~~~~Marinette's POV~~~~

"Everyone go! Hurry up, get out!" I yelled to my classmates as yet another akuma attack came flooding into the school. The akuma victim was once again Chloe. I don't know who has been akumitized more, her or our classmates taunted by her. She ran into the class, reeking havoc wherever she walked, towards everyone......................... basically just everywhere.

Back to my classmates. No one hesitated when I told them to get out. People started running left and right, flooding out of the room and down the hallways and stair to the outside of the school. After everyone, including Chloe left, I remainder in the classroom to transform into Ladybug.

"Tikki, Spo-----" That's all the farther I got before I was interrupted by a voice.

"There you are Marinette."

I looked up to meet eyes with none other than Chloe herself, evil grin and all.

"Crap, how am I gonna get out of this one?" I asked myself.

"Oh, looks like Marinette has nowhere to run. How wonderful." Chloe said with a bone chilling grin as she lunged towards me. I quickly dodged and ran out the door of the classroom, Chloe hot on my trail. 'I need to lose her' I thought to myself as I ran. However, running wasn't going to help. I ran as fast as I could to the hallway that the principles office is in and soon found Chloe in front of me.

I had nowhere to go.

I had nowhere to run.

No one was around to help me.

~~~~Chat's POV~~~~

I ran from the classroom and transformed in the locker room. I ran out of the school and talked to some of the students to see if anyone knew where the akuma had gone. I suddenly heard a voice I found familiar yelling.

"Marinette! Marinette! Where is she?!?"

'Alya?' I thought to myself as I quickly walked over to her.

"Excuse me, Alya is it? Are you alright? Is something wrong?" I asked, genuinely concerned.

"C-chat Noir! Oh, thank God you're here! I can't find Marinette!" She yelled sounding worried.

"Marinette?! Okay, where was the last time you saw her?"

" A few minutes ago in the----------, " She turned around to look at the building, ".....school. She must still be in there! She told everyone else to get out! Chat, you have to find her, please!" She yelled.

"Don't worry, I'll find your friend." I said as I ran into the building. "I'm coming Marinette."

I quickly ran into the building and noticed how empty and silent it was. I quietly ran down the hallways, looking for any sign of Marinette until I heard a voice.
