The Girl with the Purple Hair

Red Haired Man's p.o.v

I step out of the club and into the rain, I wanted a good smoke break. I slide my back against the wall of the building and take the cigarettes out of my jacket pocket. I pull one out and light it.

My mind wanders to my thoughts of my past. I missed the band but I had to leave... I had to leave the fans and disappear. I just couldn't handle it anymore so I left to New York City.

I breathe in the cigarette and puff the smoke out, watching it drift away. I stand there for a few minutes just thinking. I throw the cigarette into the ground and stomp it out.

"I guess I'll go home.." I mumble to myself. I walk into the rain and down the street. I walk with my head down, the rain falls onto my head and soaks my hair, droplets slide down onto my face and I push my hair back.

My attention perks up as an ear piercing scream is surrounded throughout the night air and I get chills down my spine. I start jogging into the direction of the sound, trying to see what was going on. I didn't hear anything more and I wasn't quite sure what to do.

I turned a corner and looked into the darkness, the only light being the working streetlights. I see a lump on the ground and I try to take peer farther into the night and see that it is someone being assaulted. I start running towards the lump and get ready to attack the assailant.

A small feminine cry bleeds through my ears and the the girl is punched, I'm close enough to able to see her small body go limp. I increase my speed to a sprint and I tackle the guy off of her.

I start punching him into a bloody pulp, I notice that he has gashes on his face and I realize I am still wearing a ring. I get up off of the dude and check on the girl. Her hood was falling behind her head showing off her purple hair. You could already see where the blows took place on her, damaging her pretty face.

I look back over where the dude was and found that he had ran off. Fucking coward. I set her on a nearby bench while I call over a taxi. I'm gonna take her to the hospital.
