This is something I wrote that I feel.... expresses? Yeah. Expresses the way life is. Girls are suicidal, boys are suicidal, because of our fucked up society. I might eventually make this into a song, because that was its intended purpose, but for now it's just another poem.
Trigger warning.

Scars on her skin
Cracks in her heart
Don't you see what you're doing?
She doesn't know where to start
Her heart is beating
For all the wrong reasons
She doesn't know where to go
How is she supposed to leave
The place where she is trapped?
Sometimes saying what you want
Isn't such a good idea
Sometimes telling people what you think
Brings them down
Didn't you see the scars
Didn't you notice the fading light in their eyes
Didn't you see how hard they became
Didn't you feel their heart slowing down
Didn't you see the signs of suicide?
He wears baggy sweatshirts
And long faded jeans
When he wears a t-shirt
Bracelets cover his arms, long and lean
His words are ignored
His soul filled with pain
What can he do
To finally gain
Sometimes saying what you want
Isn't such a good idea
Sometimes telling people what you think
Brings them down
Didn't you see the scars
Didn't you notice the fading light in their eyes
Didn't you see how hard they became
Didn't you feel their heart slowing down
Didn't you see the signs of suicide?
He hangs on a rope
Tight on his pale neck
She lies on the floor
Pills scattered and wrecked
Her scars on show
His are too
And now you wish
You had figured out sooner
The signs of suicide
May not be quite obvious
For the people we know
Are caught and oblivious.
