Chapter Forty-six: I'll tell you mine, you tell me yours

    "Are you planning to wear that all day? You look stupid, Ash"

Flame raised her eyebrow, giving her best friend a look. May suot kasi itong flower crown. She was hanging at Ash's room pagkatapos ng breakfast. Technically she wasn't avoiding Zeus anymore dahil nga 'friends' na sila but still, may gap padin. May pader parin sa pagitan nilang dalawa. Gusto lang niya munang mapag isa ngayon.

"Tatanggalin ko din to mamaya pero ang ganda ko diba? Magkasing ganda na tayo"

He even flipped his imaginary long hair.

Flame laughed bago ito batuhin ng unan. She held up her fingers to show him a small gap. "I'm this close to believing that you're gay. Ituloy mo lang 'yan"

"Am not!" Asher gave him a pointed look before rummaging through his walk in closet.

"May search and rescue kaming gagawin para sa nawawalang sapatos ni Ezra. Sama ka?" He called from his closet.

"Nah. I'd rather stay here" Flame laughed. Cinderella story pala ang peg nga mga kaibigan niya ngayon.

Lumabas naman ito na may hawak nang damit. "Kailangan mo ng araw, namumutla ka na kaya"

Flame stared at her reflection in Ash's glass frame. "Hindi naman ah"

Pero totoo. She's losing color. Ayaw lang niyang aminin kay Ash.

"Papaarawan nga kita tuwing 7 am," lumapit ito at kinurot ang pisngi niya.

"Anong tingin mo sa'kin baby?" She slapped his hand away.

"I'm serious though," Ash said after a beat. Seryoso na nga ang boses at mga mata nito. "You look a bit pale. Paler than usual. Baka naman nahawa ka na kay Aria"

"Hindi naman," wala naman siyang nararamdamang kakaiba. At hindi naman siya basta bastang mahahawa ng kung anong sakit. A witch's immune system may not be as strong as a vampire's ngunit mas matatag naman ito kaysa sa humans.

Tsaka iilang beses lang siya nagkaroon ng close contact kay Aria. Nung hinatid na nila ito kanina, iyon na ang huli. She hopes her friend recovers as soon as possible.

Ash swiftly changed his shirt in front of her. Ginulo naman nito ang buhok at inayos muli ang flower crown. Flame rolled her eyes again at how stupid he looked.

"Don't roll your eyes on me, little red"

"Umalis ka na nga" She rolled her eyes again.

Asher grinned and winked at her bago buksan ang bintana, "See yah later" And he jumps out.

Flame rushed to the window to see if he jumped out safely, when she saw him sauntering away napa buntong hininga siya. Minsan ang sarap hampasin ng pinto si Asher.

Naupo nalang muli siya sa kama, picking up the book she was reading before Ash came in ngunit hindi na siya makapag focus dito. She tried pushing the events of yesterday from flooding her mind.

Pinipilit niyang h'wag isipin ito ng todo.

In the end, Flame sighed and stared at her reflection again, this time at Ash's full length mirror.

Hindi na namumula ang mata niya. Her drained system is finally recovering.

Nasa iba man ang atensyon ni Zeus ngayon, hindi parin iyon kasiguraduhan na wala na ang spell. Wala namang spell tester na pwedeng gawin to check if it's still there. Kaya hangga't meron pang spell, masasabi ni Flame na hindi parin siya malaya.
