Once Asher saw Sierra Gandillion he knew his night won't go the way he planned.

It all came down to a matter of priorities.

Flame is on top of his priorities right now.

Hanggang tingin nalang tuloy siya sa supposedly date niya ngayon. Callie seems to be avoiding him. Ash noticed that everytime she comes in his line of vision she disappears a second later.

Flame however did not escape Asher's sight.

Until she ran off to god knows where. That's when everything went downhill.

Asher was about to follow her but once he got up, he got dragged back into the crowd, once again joining the undying chatter.

The whole smiling and talking felt agonizingly slow, minsan talaga mahirap maging mabait. Just then, Asher noticed Sierra was nowhere to be found.

Dammit.

Asher ran off without a formal goodbye. Flame was gone long enough for something bad to happen!

He set his eyes on the exit but got delayed when he bumped into the girl who was trying to avoid him.

Asher held Callie by the shoulder who looked too astonished to process what just happened. The scene was so random and funny Asher wanted to laugh but remembering why he ran off held him back.

"You can't get away from me that easily, babe." Asher said. "I'll find a way to reach you. Wait for it" And then he was off.

The timing was so perfect. In that moment he could whisk away Callie and have his way with her but, as he said, it all came down to a matter of priorities. Asher chose Flame.

Asher wasted a perfectly great moment.

Hindi niya alam kung kailan sila muling magkikita ni Callie but he meant what he said. He will find a way to reach her maybe not now or tomorrow but he will.

Once Asher was outside, he let his senses heightened. He's been with Flame for so long her scent practically mixed with his. Unless she masks it. Flame is the master of masking scents and Asher knew why.

But looks like Flame's guard was down tonight because Asher found her in one sniff.

"Hey" Asher let out a relieved sigh but the relief quickly went away when he saw the state she was in.

"I shouldn't have let you go" Asher felt guilty for letting her off on her own. Clearly something happened. Flame wouldn't be crying if it was nothing.

Her head laid on his shoulder as she sobbed.

Asher caught a whiff of the dried blood on her finger nails. Mas lalo lang siyang nanlumo nang makita ito.

Asher had always been responsible for Flame kahit saan at ilang taon na sila. That's been the set up ever since. He will strangle anyone who hurt in a heartbeat. The world knew how he's always been protective of his girls.

"That woman is literally a witch"

"She hasn't ran around spitting fire about me yet?"
