Louis POV:

I'm doing this for her, for us. I'm going to the hospital today, for her. I don't care if she doesn't ever remember me; I mean I obviously do care, but if she isn't able to remember me, I'm going to still love her. Until my own heart and light goes out.

I got out of my car, walked into the hospital front lobby, and went to the front desk. A lady with dirty blond hair, looked up at me and smiled.

"What can I do for you honey?" She asked.

"I'm here to visit my girl- uh, friend. My friend Rory Crystal."

She rolled her wheelie chair over to her computer, typed in something, and scanned the screen. "Ah, yes. She is in until F2, room number 30." She pointed over to the escalators down one of the halls. "Take one of the elevators, and press button 9. That's the floor she's on. Ask one of the nurses to guide you to her room, okay?" She asked with a reassuring smile.

"Yeah, thank you." I said back and roamed over to the elevators. When a reached floor 9, it smelt like... medication? There was no other way to describe it. It looked so sad on this floor: It was like a ghost town. When i reached one of the nurses, she walked me over to Rory's room, made me sign the visitor papers, but before I walked in, she stopped me.

"Honey, she has been getting better, and slowly starting to remember little things, but nothing major. He Godmother is in there, so you won't be alone. She's also sleeping right now, so be quiet, okay?" I nodded my head 'yes' to her. "Good luck." She mumbled as she walked away.

I walked in the room, to see Elizabeth sitting in a chair reading a magazine, and Rory sleeping so peacefully; She looked like Sleeping Beauty right now, if only I could kiss her and break her curse. I coughed a little, and Elizabeth looked up to me and smiled. She motioned me to come sit next to her.

"Everything will be alright Louis." She whispered to me. "She will get better, I promise."

"This is all my fault." I put my head in my hands. "If I didn't ask her to stay at my house a little longer, she wouldn't have gotten in the accident, and-"

"Hush, none of this is YOUR fault, Louis." She hugged me as if I was her child. Tears started streaming down my face, and she whipped them away. "I know, I know... shh, you'll be okay, she'll be alright Lou..."

*20 Minutes Later*

We sat in silence, just waiting for Rory to wake up. She slowly fluttered her eyes open, and yawned like a little kitten.

"Hi Lizzy, Hi..." She looked over to me and gave me an unsure face. My heart broke into a thousand pieces. But then she said it. My name. "Lou...is?" She sounded unsure, but at least she got it right.

"Hey Rory. It's me, your friend Louis from school." Elizabeth gave me a weird face. I didn't want to tell Rory I was her boyfriend when she hardly remembers me. I want to give her time for her brain to try to remember us.

"Yeah..." Rory looked over to me. "When I fell over, the day I was late for school... You were the only one who asked me if I was alright, even when everyone was laughing at how much of a fool I was." She looked down at her lap. "Thanks Lou." She coughed awkwardly. "I mean Louis."

"Alright babe." Elizabeth told Rory as she stood up from her chair. "I've been here all week, every night with you so far, and as much as a love you, I need to get some real sleep before I pass out." She hugged her goodbye, and me too.

"Bye." Rory said dryly as she left.

I turned to her and pulled out a circle locket with a infinity sign carved on it. It was the necklace I gave to her after we started going out, but she gave back to me, because she was going to go swimming and didn't want to ruin it, but I forgot to give it back to her. "This is for you." I clipped it around her neck, while she looked at it and brushed her fingers over it. "It's well, uh... a get-well present, in a way..." I blushed a little bit, but looked out the window so she wouldn't notice.
