THIRD PERSON POV:
*1 WEEK AFTER LAST CHAPTER*
"Louis, is this really going to work out?" Rory asked Louis on the way to music class.
"What do you mean?" Louis asked Rory, not seeming like he even cared what she was saying.
"You haven't been acting like yourself; I try to help you, but you won't let me in."
"I'm fine, I don't know what your talking about." Louis snapped back, coming out ruder then expected.
"What the hell is wrong with you man?" Rory's voice had rose. "Where is the nice, funny, yet sensible Louis I love? All I'm going to say is I'm not going to deal with your attitude, you've been acting like this all week to me! I'm not one of those girls who will just sit back and do nothing, letting their boyfriend act like this to them, no just for a short while! But a week! I'm a fighter Lou."
"Louis." He muttered under his breath, but Rory had heard him.
"Fine, whatever. Go back to Eleanor, I know you to have been flirting and acting all lovey-dovey together..." She walked a tad faster then Louis to keep distance from him.
"Maybe I will... It doesn't seem like you care if I was flirting with her or not anyways." Louis said to Rory, and Rory's anger snapped.
"Don't you say that. Do you not realize how much I love you? How much I have cried for you after I got back from the hospital because I felt so horrible for you? How much I try to make you smile, how much I try to impress you?" A tear slowly slid down Rory's cheek as she whipped it away. "And it... hurts when I see you with her, when you might be flirting with her. Am I not good enough? What do I have to do to prove to you I love you?"
"You already do enough, and I can see it, but I can't feel it, that's all." Louis breathed, trying to walk away from Rory.
On his way past her, Louis heard Rory mutter, "Maybe you should try to show some fucking compassion."

Rory slide into her seat next to Melina.
"Where have you been?" Melina asked. "I was starting to get worried you wouldn't show up for class."
"Louis been acting... strange." Rory whispered so only Melina could hear.
"Strange?"
"Like a jerk. I don't know what's up with him lately." Rory breathed.
"Maybe he's just under the weather?"
"I'm not sure, but he could just show a lack of respect toward me. You should've heard how he sounded-" Rory stopped whisper-talking and glanced over across the room to only see Eleanor and Louis laughing together and Eleanor playfully punching Louis in the arm.
"Oh god!" Melina gasped. Rory just looked down at her hands, and started becoming teary eyed. "No Rory, it's okay, it's probably not what it looks like..." Melina sighed and pulled Rory into a hug.
Zayn was also in Rory's music class, and noticed what Louis was doing with Eleanor, and how Rory was reacting to it. That little fucker... Zayn thought as he walked over to Rory.
"Rory," He leaned over and whispered to her. "Don't worry about that guy, you can do so-" Rory cut Zayn off.
"Zayn, I'm not someone who will just sit here and do nothing about this." Rory slightly smiled.
"What are you going to do?" Zayn asked and sat down beside Melina and Rory, curiosity taking over him.
"You know how today in class it's my day to sing a song of choice in front of the class?"
