Chapter 12: Jennifer's Wrong-Doings

Louis POV:

I've been worrying all week. Harry hasn't been in school for a couple of days now. I wouldn't be panicking, but he hasn't been answering Niall and my texts and calls. I've decided I should head to Ms. Styles house to see what was up with him after Italian class was over.

"Hey." Someone who was sitting behind me lightly tapped my shoulder. I turned around and faced Lily.

"What's up?" I asked her.

"I know you and Harry are best mates, and I was just wondering if you have seen him. We haven't talked in a while because he hasn't been answering my texts." Lily whispered to me, tapping her pencil on her desk.

"No, sorry Lily I haven't." I looked back at Mr. Tassi to see if he was looking at us, but he was writing vocab words on the board so I turned back to Lily again. "I was actually planning to swing by his house to check up on him to see if he had a cold or anything... Want to come with me?"

Lily literally jumped out of her seat. "Sure!" She whispered yelled and slightly blushed and looked down. Sigh, young love.

"Yo Lou." I looked over to see my buddy Kevin look over at me.

"What's up mate?"

"I heard you were looking for Harry... Try asking Jennifer, maybe she knows... I asked her earlier because ya' know, she's his ex-girlfriend and she still might worry about him." He shrugged.

"I personally think that she wouldn't really after all she costed him..." I trailed off. I swear I glanced at Lily and she looked a little hurt. "But I could go check, thanks for the suggestion Kevin."

*AFTER CLASS*

"JENNIFER!" I hollered as I saw her walking out one of the 'Exit' doors with her friends.

"Go on without me," She said to her friends. "This will just take a minute." Her friends nodded as she walked away. We walked into the library and i shut the doors.

"Hey LouLou, why'd you call me in here for? It's awfully... private since nobody is here, nobody really goes to the schools library on a Friday after all." She cheekily purred in my ear, sliding her hand on my hip.

"Look," I quickly said as I pushed her away. "I just wanted to know if you knew where Harry was, I mean if anything did happen I don't want other people around us to hear."

"No I haven't baby... haven't seen him since Zayn's party." She said seductively, slowly moving toward me.

I backed away from her and held my hands out in defense if she 'tried' anything. "You sure?"

"Positive." She whispered in my ear, as she glided her hands across my chest. "Your really cute Louis..." She trailed off.

"Look," I grabbed her hands off my chest and put them back by her sides. "I'm not falling in one of your traps. I have a girlfriend and you hurt my best friend. You really hurt him."

"I love to see it when he crumbles." She laughed. Insane freak.

"What?"

"He tried so hard for me; and he actually thought I loved him back."

Rage boiled up in me. "LOOK LADY-"

"Now, now, let's not start anything LouLou-"

"It's Louis."

"Whatever you want. But I would suggest you be nice to me if you don't want anything 'unfortuate' to happen to Harry."

"What? I thought you said you didn't know where he is!" I yelled.

"You better be nice to me LouLou, his life is literally on my fingertip." She smirked as I gulped. "Let's just say his father has custody of him now."

"H-His father? His father's dangerous!" I stuttered.

"Unfortunate, is it? I wouldn't mess with me right now, me and his father have a deal."

"A deal? Jennifer if your playing some kind of sick joke, it's not funny!" 

"Watch your back Louis. More lives are on stack then just his." She hissed.

"Your crazy... Jennifer please-"

"Go, tell people I'm involved... But they will never find me, Mr. Styles, or Harry. This is a serious business."

"Why are you telling me this?" I chocked. "Harry is my best mate... please don't hurt him, PLEASE." I begged.

"Lucky for you, I'm feeling nice today."

And with that, Louis ran off, out of the library, out of the school.

I switched off the screen to my phone and put my phone in my pocket. I know that I told Lily I wasn't going to Harry's, but I needed to go over alone. I wanted to tell Harry's mum and the police what Jennifer had told me today and that she was involved with Harry's disappearance.

I was friends with Harry's brother Marcel as well and am sleeping over today with him. Marcel has always been shy and quiet, and now is very fragile after his brother's disappearance. Sometimes Marcel felt like me and Harry were all he had, he has been bullied and mocked for a long time. If only some people would let him catch a break.

I laid in Marcel's bed with him; This wasn't weird, it was normal because we were like brothers, we had that kind of friendship that wouldn't make anything awkward.

"Are you okay Marcel?" I whispered to him. "We should get some sleep; It's late and you haven't got much sleep."

"I can't... I'm just so scarred." He whispered, hugging himself tightly.

"Marcel," I said rubbing circles on his back. "People are here to protect you, I'm here, no one will-"

He sat up and looked into the darkness and started crying again. "But n-no one was there H-Harry!" He cried as I wrapped him into a hug, trying to calm him down.

"This is Harry we're talking about, he finds his way out of anything, he'll find a way home, a way back to you, his little brother."

He silently laughed. "He's older by only four minutes..."

I chuckled. "Your still his little brother."

"What I-If he doesn't make it home...?"

"Mar, we will find him, please don't say things like that."

"Don't make promises you don't know if you can keep..." He started crying again and tears slowly glided down my cheeks as well.

"It will only get better from here Marcel." I cried.

I KNOW I SAID I WASN'T GONNA UPDATE IN A WHILE BUT I ASKED MY FRIEND WHAT I SHOULD UPDATE AND SHE SAID THIS FANFIC SO I DID BECAUSE I DON'T THINK SHE READS MY OTHER FANFIC. SO THERE, PRESENT.
