Chapter 21: Harry and Liam

(Don't be confused with this chapter, remember Liam went our with Jennifer before and Jennifer lied to Liam saying she broke up with Harry when she didn't?)

Harry was walking off the dance floor to get another slice of pizza when someone tapped him on the shoulder.

"Harry," Harry turned around facing Liam. "We have to talk."

"What do you want Liam?" Harry sighed.

"Look Harry, I know you hate me okay? I didn't mean to take Jennifer away from you, I didn't-"

"Liam, not that I even like Jennifer anymore, but the thing is, why would you go out with her if I still was?" Harry snapped.

"Harry, let's go in the hallway and talk about this, okay?" Liam suggested, walking towards the cafeteria doors. "You know as well as I do you'll create a scene."

Harry sighed in defeat, and followed Liam out the cafeteria doors and into one of the hallways.

"You better have a good explanation Payne." Harry muttered.

"Just hear me out." Liam put up if hands in defense.

"I've already heard all your explanations-"

"Harry!" Liam suddenly yelled and then sighed. "You haven't. I only have one more night to talk to you about what happened with all the Jennifer drama since we aren't going to the same school anymore since we're graduates, and we're probably not even going to the same collage!"

"Okay Liam." Harry looked over at Liam and leaned against the wall. "Start from the beginning."

"Well," Liam started. "When I first started talking to Jennifer, she was really nice and sweet. She would invite me over her house sometimes to do homework and I would accept, afterwards we would talk and I felt I really got to know her. We slowly started to hang out with each other and her friends sometimes on the weekend." Liam sighed and scratched the back of his neck. "A couple of weeks later she asked me out. It was unexpected because I knew she was going out with you, and I said that to her." Liam leaned against the wall next to Harry. "A couple of days later she told me she broke up with you. I felt guilty, but I said I would go out with her anyways because I really, really liked her."

"She told you that she broke up with me?" Harry whispered.

"Yes, I'm sorry mate... After I started going out with her, her attitude started getting ugly. She'd force things I didn't want on me, and she started lying to me about a lot of stuff." Liam looked over at Harry. "Then I found out she lied to me about breaking up with you, so I decided it was time to breakup with her."

Harry chuckled. "You did us both a favor."

"What?" Liam said.

"You did me and yourself both a favor, Jennifer was crazy, she got me kidnapped after all." Harry looked off in the distance.

Liam stood up and looked at Harry. "What?!"

"Liam, when I was gone all those months, I wasn't... I wasn't on a vacation with my family like the teachers were telling everyone... I was kidnapped by my crazy dad. Jennifer told him where I was, and that's how he found me."

"Harry, I'm sorry!" Liam cried.

"Look Liam, I really don't want to talk about it, I just thought you should know." Harry shrugged.

"Why would you tell me this Harry? After all-"

"Don't you remember Liam?" Harry looked over at Liam. "We used to be best friends with eachother when we were freshmen! But then all this drama started..." Harry trailed off. "Plus, I misjudged you."

Liam and Harry stood in silence for a couple of minutes before Liam spoke up.

"Harry, I want to be friends again, I want all this drama and rivalry between us to blow over. Remember middle school, where everyday we would go over each-other's houses after school and play video games and how we went to soccer practice together? Remember freshman year and how we always spent time together with Niall and Louis? Harry, whenever something happens to you, whenever it's good or bad, I want to be there to support you, I want to be friends again."

Harry smiled and put his hands out towards Liam. "Friends?" Harry asked.

Liam shook Harry's hand. "Friends."

"Look," Harry said. "Niall, Louis, and I are going back to my house after this party blows over. Do you and Zayn want to come?"

"Sure." Liam smiled as him and Harry walked back into the cafeteria.

I know this is short, but I needed Harry and Liam to makeup so all the boys could become friends so the story can countinue the way I want it to. Perhaps the boys should form a band named One Direction and try going on the XFactor together hmm?? I don't know where this story is even going now xD
