I stalked Greer's profile on Facebook, just because I do that cause I'm a weirdo and I wanted to know who she was now, it's been years and years since we'd been incredibly close, and I barely knew who she was. I opened my messenger application and decided to message Greer.

Ezra Morgan:
That was an exciting fight.

I sent the message and started talking to Kameron about what she did while I was gone. She was in the middle of telling me about when she went to lunch with her sister when I felt my phone vibrate. I glanced down and it was a message from Greer.

Greer Steel:
It for sure was, why haven't I boxed you before?

I had honestly wondered the same thing myself, so I just answered with...

Ezra Morgan:
I honestly don't know. We are in the same division and everything. It just doesn't make sense.

As I was sitting waiting for a response, while listening to Kameron and Josh banter with each other; I pondered over a memory from my childhood.

*
In the last days before my big move to Chicago Greer and I were in the locker room getting ready for training when she said something that we both realized many years later was much more serious than we thought in the beginning.

"I don't know how to not be mad." Greer said to me as I was lacing up my sneakers.

"You'll be okay though, that's why Uncle Dave is training you." I said to her while handing her, her gloves.

She just kind of shrugged before following me out of the locker room into the training room.

We would later find out she had anger problems and no one knew how to help her, but I was the only one who could see fighting was what could calm her down.

I snapped out of my little blast to the past when Kameron snapped her fingers in front of my face to get my attention.

"Huh? What? Sorry I zoned out." I stuttered out.

No one really knows this but I have a stuttering problem.

"I asked when you had to leave again babe." She said chuckling a little bit at my stuttering.

She thought it was cute, while I saw it as embarrassing and annoying.

"Um... I don't have another fight until the 15th and it's only the fourth. So in almost two weeks, but that fight is in Orlando, and then we're doing that three week MMA tour in Australia. Are you still going fly out the week after the tour for our vacation in New Zealand?" I responded, suddenly realizing how much I have going on.

"Yea, I'm going to fly out for that week, and don't forget Josh is flying out to visit you for a couple days during the second week of the tour." Kameron reminded me.

I nodded my head, which suddenly felt incredibly dizzy when I remembered the real reason my brother was flying out to see me in Australia.

I planned on proposing to Kameron during the week she was coming to spend with me. We've been together since high school and I was ready to marry her. She's my world, and I can't imagine living with out her.

I went upstairs claiming I was going to take a nap, but instead I went and sat on my side of the bed, and pulled the top drawer of my end table open to reveal a small black box.

I grabbed to box and popped the lid open to reveal a beautiful diamond ring. The ring was perfect. And I couldn't wait to put it on Kameron's finger.
