I. Hate. This. That's it. I just really hate this. Like why am I even here? I'm on the seventh day. Kai and the others should be back either later today or early tomorrow. They should come faster.

"Hey Ress, you wanna come to the sword arena with me?" Owen asks looking down at me. I had just finished breakfast but I'm still sitting in the pavilion staring off into space wishing to be elsewhere.

"Who we gonna train? I thought the Ares jerks don't like us butting in."

"It's a group of  Demeter kids that the Ares campers refuse to teach," he tells me.

"Oh, okay. Yeah, alright," I say trying not to sound miserable.

We walk to the sword arena and find the Demeter kids waiting. You would think that after six days I would be used to this. I'm not. I've realized that training is not really my thing. I can fight, sure. But telling others how? Nope. Oh well though.

After Luke, or rather, Owen and I finish instructing flower girls and leaf boys how to use a sword, I go outside. And find a nice place to sit. Just sit. This place is pretty amazing, I have to admit. The Ancient Greek style and architecture and landscape is so beautiful. Yeah, I do wish I'd taken this path instead of going with Kronos... Fml.

Just as I fall asleep while leaning back on a tree, something shakes the ground. Earthquake? No, Poseidon wouldn't do that...

I see a girl with frizzy red hair running towards me holding a hairbrush with a dagger strapped to her waist. There are paint stains covering her band tee. "I don't know who you are, but come on! We have to warn Chiron!" She slowes down her pace as she nears me.

Wut.

She reaches down for my hand and drags me with her as she sprints to the Big House. This girl seems a bit familiar...

"What the hell!" I yell at her. "Why are you running? Who are you?"

"I should be asking you the same thing!"

"Okay my name is Ress. Who the hell are you!?"

"I'm Rachel, the Oracle of Camp Half-Blood."

Whoa. Didn't see that coming. "Okay so uhh—" We make it to the Big House.

"Chiron!" She yells.

"Why are you yelling!?"

"Why are you yelling?" She says back.

"Ugh. Okay, what's going on?"

"We will be under siege within a matter of hours!" She screams halting in front of the entrance to the blue building.

"Oh. Okay. WHAT?!?"

Chiron emerges from of the Big House in full Centaur form. "Rachel? You said you wouldn't be back for another week."

"Yeah well call this an intelligence report. They're here." She takes a breath.

"Wait, you mean his army?" Chiron questions looking worried but not panicked.

Why is this guy so calm?

"Yes, well part of it. But—"

"Let's take this inside," he suggests. We agree and while I walk through the door, he says, "Why did you bring him, Rachel?"

"To be honest, I don't know. I just didn't want to come alone, I guess. Also, he was the first person I saw 'cause he was near the border."
