"Gianna baby. Let's go meet Jack!" I said as I held my five year-old daughter's hand.
"Yay!" She happily squealed. I smiled down at her and walked over to the car to ride to Jack's house.
You see, I was in a relationship before Jack and it happened pretty quick. This guy got me knocked up and when I told him I was pregnant he left. He freaking left me because 'he couldn't handle a baby'. I never saw him again since that moment.
We finally arrived at Jack's house and I got Gianna out of the car with her stuff. I loved her with my entire life. She was a pain in the ass, but she was all worth it.
"Hey Y/N!" Jack said as he gently hugged me. Then he looked down and noticed Gianna hiding behind my leg with her teddy bear. "Who's this beautiful girl?" Jack tried to make a good first impression with her.
"Gianna, say hi. Don't be shy." I carefully said.
Jack lowered himself to her height and they exchanged friendly smiles. "I love your name." He told her. She blushed. "Can I call you Gigi?" Gianna giggled again and nodded.
"Gigi sounds fun." She softly said.
Jack smiled wider. "I know. That's why I picked it for you." They looked at each other for a while and it looked like they were examining each other.
"Let's go inside. Let me get that." He noticed the bags in my hand and got them. I mumbled a thank you for before going in.
Jack got his own apartment and it was pretty. Not too big, but also not too small. "I like your house." Gianna said. It looked like she got a little more comfortable with Jack.
"Thank you, Gigi." I heard the little one laugh. "Do you want something to drink?"
"Can I have a juice?" Jack nodded and walked over to the kitchen. We followed him.
"What about you, my lady?" I laughed at the cheesy nickname and said I just wanted coffee.
Jack was extremely nervous to meet Gianna. He felt like she wouldn't like him, but it's just that he probably loved him. "Gigi, I got you something!" Jack said while running to the living room.
He came back with a big box. "You didn't have to do that." I laughed slightly.
"I wanted to." He grinned. Gianna happily cheered and ripped the wrapping paper off it.
It was an entire art box with pencils, paper etc. I told him once that she loved drawing and art. I guess he remembered it. "Ah! Thank you, Jack!" She jumped in Jack's arms and hugged him tightly. "This is so pretty!"
"No problem, princess. Go draw on the couch, we are coming in a bit." She did as Jack said and left. "I want her." He whined. It was so cute to see Jack loved her.
"I have her." I winked.
He chuckled and looked at her. "She's such a cutie. She looks like you."
"I know." I bit my lip and looked at Jack. "She loves you."
"And I love her."
