My class was sitting in their seats, staring at the clock, waiting for it to ring so we could go to our next class. I was really impatient for biology. I never liked biology, though. I was always terrible. I knew a lot about pigs, but that's it.

The bell rang. I quickly grabbed my binder and biology textbook, and sped out of homeroom.

I walked to room 207, and saw Lukas waiting for me to sit next to him, where I always sat. Thank God that his jerk friends weren't in this class.

I set my binder on the ground, and dropped my heavy textbook onto my desk, and sat down.

"Hey, Jess." Lukas said.

"What's up, Luke?" I asked. We had nicknames for each other. They were nothing special, just shortening our names.

"Just sittin' here. Waiting for the teacher to start class."

I sighed. "I honestly have no idea why we're being taught the things we're bad at, if it only brings our grades down."

"Right? I'm into history. What about you?" Lukas asked.

I shrugged. "I don't really know. I do know that I'm not into biology."

Lukas laughed, lightly. "I can tell." He looked at my hand. I drew "I hate biology" on my hand, the other day. It was starting to fade, though.

After the class, I was barely paying any attention to, I looked up, and saw "test" on the board. I groaned, and picked up my stuff, to go to my next class.

"Hey, Jess." Lukas said. His class was right next to mine, so we walked together. "Wanna hang out, after school, later?"

"Sure. Where you wanna meet up?" I asked, shifting my books.

"There's a new pizza place that just opened up, yesterday. I hear they're really good."

I smiled. "Sounds like a plan. See you later, Luke."

"Later." He walked into his class.

When I first stepped into my class, I saw Aiden sitting in my seat. There were no assigned seats, but I sat there everyday. And he knew it. I didn't really bother about it. It's only a seat, but I sat in his. Petra came in, and sat next to me.

"Hey, Jesse. Since when did you sit here?" She asked.

"Well, Aiden's in my seat, and I didn't know where to go, and this was the only empty-"

"Relax. It's cool. Just curious."

I smiled. I had a habit of continuing to talk, even for one question.

I was in algebra, now. I wasn't a big fan of math, like Olivia, but it was OK, I guess.

Petra was a nice girl. She was tough and mean when she needed to be, but if you stayed on her good side, she was a good girl.

Math was faster than expected, and my next class was literature. I liked reading. It was easy to read. I'm pretty sure anyone that's 16 years old can read. But we didn't read, at all. Instead, we watched a movie about a novel, we never even started yet. During that time, I retraced "I hate biology" on my hand.

Literature was over, and we had to go eat lunch. I didn't hang out with Lukas, then. He was hanging out with his friends, and I sat with mine.

I sat next to Olivia, while Petra and Axel sat on the other side of the table.

"So. Where's Lukas taking you?" Petra asked, with a smile.

"What?" I tried to act confused.

"Don't think I didn't hear you two. And I can see it in your face. He's taking you out. I know it."
