Sara's POV
Today I am finally going to school... I get to meet my friends. And if someone ever asks me tgat why did I miss school or something.... I will simply state that I was not well.
《At school》
I enter the class and all head turns to me. I offer a smile to Kim, a good physics partner. Though he is very rich he is really down-to-earth and sweet.
I sit besides Anna and she updates me with everything which is going on in school.
"Sara you have been given a new partner in chemistry...he is the hottest boy! I AM SOOO JEALOUS! "
"Oh shut up! It isn't important whoever he is... just tell me if he is good in studies? Chemistry to be specific...."
"No idea... he is a new boy"
"Fine"
That was all we spoke before continuing our English classwork. It felt so good being on a daily routine again. After completing the english class I walked towards the chemistry class.
As I entered I saw many people had already taken place and no one was a stranger to me except one. I walked over to him and to confirm that he was my partner I said "Are you new to school?"
"Are you the beautiful Sara I heard of?" He asked with a polite smile but completely ignoring my question.
"Oh yeah! I don't know whether I am the beautiful girl you heard of, but I am definitely Sara!"
He chuckled and said "I am Jace and yes I am a new boy here... many people say 'THE HOTTEST NEW BOY' do you agree to that statement, by any chance?"
"Nope, I don't! Only one boy is hot for me and that is....."before I could complete he cut me off.
"Ouch I am hurt! And so I have decided not to hear the hottest boy's name according to you." He said feigning hurt.
I smirked and sat down besides him. It wasn't wrong when Anna told me about him. For indeed he was hot but I was not attracted to any boy for his hottness.
"Okay, anyways will you give me your notes because I was absent for a few days?"
"I would love to but I have to complete my notes of the classes when I was not here......... how about we meet at my place and complete our homework together?"
I started debating whether to go at a stranger's place... seeing my confused face he said "my sister will also be there so you will not feel awkward... if you are thinking about that"
"Okay... then I guess it sounds good to me! Time?"
"5:30 pm?"
"Done"
The rest of the class we patiently listen to Mr. Irwin's lecture. Mr. Irwin also asks us questions in between to make shre we are paying attention. I answer all the question confidently and also prompt answers to Jace when he was asked. Bit it looks like he knew the answers too.
"Do I look dumb?"
He asked after answering the question. "Ummm.... no why?"
"Then why did you prompt the answers? Just asking"
"Its a habit of mine... I am sorry"
"don't be sorry beautiful.... I didn't say that to make you feel guilty"
Well that comment for sure managed to bring red colour on my cheek.
"Ohkay.... now concentrate!" I tried to act as if I was not affected at all.
He chuckled and I heard him saying to himself "Girls..."
I smiled at started taking notes. After a span of thirty minutes our lunch break started and we started heading towards the canteen. I spotted Zeke walking towards a table and followed him. He sat on the table where shauna, Anna, Robert, Alan are sitting. I walk over to them... pull Shauna's hair and run off to zeke. She scowls at me but then zeke says with a fake frown
"are you angry with me Shauna? Why are you giving me that look? What have I done?"
"No....no...no... why would I ever be angry with you? Its just Sara......." she then realized what she spoke and so blushed very hard and tried to hide her face behind he blonde locks"
"Awww look at her...." I say and zeke smirks at Shauna. Shauna playfully glares at me. And I laugh.
"Anyway people do you wanna meet up at my place?" Asks Alan.
"What time?" Robert asks
"5:00 pm"
"Can you please keep it 6:30 or 7:00?" I ask.
"Okay...." Robert frowns at me and raises his eyebrows asking me why. I mouth him 'later'
The bell rings and we attend the rest of our periods. And while I ans Robert were strolling on the streets Jace shows up and confirms if I was coming.... I say yes and he walks away.
From the corner of my eye I can see robert making the expression like he has tasted something tok sour.
