Invitations

Yeri's POV

"Hey Yeri, how's school?", Yuri asked, once I got in the car. "Good," I replied. "And how are you and Bombom working out?", she said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes. "It was only one mistake", I said," And Bombom is a horrible partner".

She began to drive," Why?" I sighed,"He wants me to do the work for us and give him credit". Yuri glanced over at me, then back at the road. "Then you should tell him that if he wants good grades he needs to work on the project also".

I laughed," He doesn't care about grades, he doesn't even do his homework". "He just doesn't want to get in trouble". "So you never thought about talking to him?", Yuri asked parking into the driveway.

"Talking to him?", I furrowed my eyebrows," I can't even look at him, and when he looks at me, his stare makes me think he wants to kill me".

We got out of the car. "Then you should practice and pretend that you're talking to him". Yuri said as she unlocked the door and went inside. She thinks it's easy.

I was working on my homework until Yuri walked in. "I made invitations", Yuri smiled holding up four cards. "Why?", I asked her. "For the sleepover duh", she sat on my bed. "Oh about that, I just met them and was thinking it would've been a better idea if I invite them a little later", I notified her.

"Ooo", Yuri looked away. She then quickly turned her head to me, "to late". She got off the bed and walked out. I looked down at the cards. "Maybe it's not a bad idea", I said to myself.

I got up the next morning and quickly got ready. I went down stairs and grabbed some toast and my lunch. "Did you get the invitations?", Yuri asked. I swung my backpack over my shoulder," Is that all you care about?"

We walked to the car and got in. "I mean you've never had a sleepover before", Yuri pulled out of the driveway. "And it will be fun since me and Yoona will have a sleepover at the same time".

She stopped on the red light. I looked at the car beside us and saw Jungkook. "Oh my gosh", I whispered. He was in the back chatting with his friend Jimin. "What?", Yuri asked. "Uh nothing", I blocked her from seeing them. But she was tall and looked over my head.

"Is that Jungkook?", she asked with a smile. "Yeah", I sighed. "Oh you two would look cute", Yuri gushed. I groaned and threw my head back. I then realized Jungkook saw me once I turned to him. Shit. I bent down and hid myself.

I could hear Yuri laugh as she drove. I sat back up and looked at her. "That's not funny, it's embarrassing", I covered my face. "Sometimes you do embarrassing in front of your crush", she said," and it happens".

She stopped the car and I got out. "Bye", I said closing the door. "Bye", Yuri said and drove off. "Hey Yeri!", Joy said walking beside me. "So... How was science yesterday?" I thought of what to say,"It was good".

"Oh and about the sleepover on Sunday", Joy started," my mom said it was okay for me to go unless there's no boys". "Boys?", I asked confused. She then laughed, "Wendy, Seulgi, Irene, and my parent's are protective of where we're going and who we're going with".

I then grabbed the invitations Yuri made and handed Joy one," Here's the information for the sleepover". She looked at the one's in my hand," If you want I'll give those to the others". I handed them to her,"Thanks Joy". "No problem", she smiled.
