New Students

Yeri's POV

Hello my name is Yeri. I'm 17 and I have....Anxiety. The first time it happened was when I was six. I would breath heavily when I'm sleeping. My parents knew it was anxiety, but wasn't ready for what happened next.

*flashback*

My parents cried, so did my older sister. I was rushed to the hospital once I blacked out. I could hear voices and my family crying. "Yeriiiii", my sister's cry rang in my head. My whole body tingled. I thought it was the end.

*flashback ended*

I woke up and looked around my room. I than grabbed my purple teddy bear and hugged it. Birds chirped as the rays of the sun peaked through my bedroom curtains.

I sat up and got out of bed placing my teddy bear back on the bed, "I'm just going to take a shower, I'll be back" I tell it as if it was listening. I head into my bathroom and take a quick shower.

I get out once I'm done and pick out an outfit. I dried myself off and wore a white buttoned sweater with pink and orange diamond shapes on it, a beige skirt and black converses. I put my hair up in pigtails and wore my purple glasses. "Bye teddy", I waved to my stuffed bear.

I went downstairs to find my mom cooking breakfast. "Goodmorning mom", I said with a smile. "Morning Yeri", my mom turned to me and smiled. She placed a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon in front of me. "Thank you", I said and began to eat. "You're welcome", she said handing me a glass of orange juice. She sat across from me and sipped her coffee.

"Mom where's dad?" I asked munching on a piece of bacon. "He went out to get a few things for tonight". "What's tonight?", I asked placing my plate and cup in the sink after I've finished.

"It's a secret", she got up and handed me my lunch. "Fine", I sighed. Not wanting to be late, I grabbed my backpack and quickly walked out of the house. "Stay safe! Bye!", I looked back at my mom who waved. "I will! Bye!", I smiled and waved as I walked off.

I walked into the classroom five minutes early. "Goodmorning Yeri", my teacher Mrs. Barns greeted me. "Goodmorning", I said taking a seat near the back.

"Morning Mrs. Barns", a familiar voice said. I looked up and saw him. Jungkook. His dark brown eyes met mine for a few seconds before I looked away. They talked for a while as I read my book. Sometimes I would quickly steal a few glances.

"Jungkook, you better get to class", Mrs. Barns said shooing him away. Before he left he looked at me again, which made me look down at my book.

The bell rang and people started walking in while talking to their friends, which I don't have. It was hard for me to make friends.

"Morning class, I would like you to open your books to page 217, and read from page 217 to page 222", Mrs. Barns said writing the numbers up on the board so we wouldn't forget. The whole class groaned except for me.

While I was quietly reading the door opened revealing the principal and four other girls following behind.

"Morning class I would like you to meet your new students", he gestured the girls to speak.

A girl with pink glasses spoke first, "Hello I'm Irene, nice to meet you".

"Hi I'm Seulgi, nice to meet you", the girl with yellow glasses smiled.

"Hello I'm Wendy, nice to meet you", the girl with blue glasses smiled wider than the others.

"Hi I'm Joy, nice to meet you", the girl with green glasses said. Woah she's tall.

"Thank you girls you can sit in the back near Yeri", they all nodded and walked over to where I am.

"Excuse me are you Yeri?", the girl with blue glasses said sitting to my right. "Y-yes", I stutterd. "I'm Wendy nice to meet you", she held out her hand for me to shake. I looked down at it and back up at her.

"Sorry if she freaked you out", the girl with pink glasses, I think was Irene, said with an apologetic face. Wendy gave her a look.

"Wendy just talks alot you'll get used to it", Seulgi smiled, as the girl with the green glasses, Joy I think?, nodded.

I looked at all of them. I'm not used to this. What do I say? I then got saved by the lunch bell. I quickly grabbed my stuff and walked out. I headed to my locker and searched for my lunch.

"Ew", I heard a familiar voice say as I closed my locker and locked it. I turned and saw Jane and her group of friends looking at me from head to toe. I felt myself getting warmer. Please no.

I quickly walked to the cafeteria and found an empty table. I always sat alone.
"Hey Yeri, may we sit here?"
