Science Fair

Yeri's POV

I looked down at the tiled floor as I fixed my outfit. "This is embarrassing", I mumbled. "There's nothing to be embarrassed about", Seulgi said. "I thought you guys would-", Joy cut me off. "Not be your friend if we knew?" I nodded. "We would never do that just because you have anxiety, don't listen to what other people say", Seulgi spoke. "She's right, don't worry about those who talk behind your back, they're behind you for a reason", Wendy brushed my hair out of my face.

I heaved a sigh and surprised them by giving them a hug. "Thank you", I whispered. "You're most certainly welcome", Wendy smiled. "Now your dream boy is out there waiting for you", Irene smirked,"Don't want to keep him waiting right?" They all laughed as I covered my cheeks with my hands.

I woke up and threw my blanket off me letting the cold breeze hit my bare skin. I walked into the shower and realized that the science fair was today. I smiled to myself but then remembered Bambam being my partner.

Getting out of the shower I dry myself off and change. "Hello bear!", I giggled talking to my purple bear. "I get to see Jungkook again", I grinned. "Oh Jungkook and you would be so cute together!", I said in a different voice. I made my stuffed bear's head nod as if it was talking.

"Yeri breakfast!", My dad called.

"Okay dad", I said, "Bye bear!" I waved and walked down the hall. "Omg Luhan are you serious?!", I stopped by my sister's door. "When?", Yuri gasped. "Okay I'll see you then". After a moment of silence I quickly walked down the hall so I wouldn't get caught.

"Morning mom and dad", I smiled grabbing some toast, bacon and eggs. "Morning", They both said. "Good luck on your science fair today", My mom mentioned. "Oh is that today?", My dad asked taking a sip from his coffee. "Yup", I replied taking a bite out of the bacon and egg sandwich I made.

"Yuri?", My dad called her. "Yeah?" "Do you think you'd have time from working to pick Yeri up?" Yuri looked at her schedule,"I'm not sure". She then looked back up with a smirk,"Why doesn't Jungkook take her?"

"Who? That kid Yeri went on a date with?",my dad asked. Kid? Really dad? "That's fine, I'll walk home", I said running up the stairs.

I quickly walked into my science class a few seconds before the bell. I sighed. I sat in my seat and looked for Bambam. "Listen up class", Mrs. Lynch spoke. "This is the last class to get everything ready for this evening". I smiled and imagined winning first place.

"Now get to work", Mrs. Lynch said sitting down at her desk. I grabbed my stuff and was about to go to the front when I heard someone whisper my name. I looked to my left and saw Jungkook.

He held out a card that said 'read this tonight at the science fair' on the front. I looked up at him and nodded. I got my stuff and walked up to Mrs. Lynch's desk. "Morning Mrs. Lynch", I smiled. "Yeri, Yeri, Yeri", Mrs. Lynch shook her head with a smile,"Always brightens up the day".

I smiled again, but I felt sad at the same time. "I was won-", I began. "Yes you may", she replied and we both laughed. "Thank you!", I said walking out of the classroom and down the hall to Mr. Zink's Tech ed room. I walked to where I put our project but it wasn't there. I looked around worried.

"Oh no oh no oh no", I mumbled running around looking in other closets. I walked out of the room full of closets and gasped. "NO". I ran to the farthest table which had our project but broken in pieces.

"This can't be happening", I frowned. I began breathing heavily as I started to panic more. I've worked so hard. I covered my face with my hands as I tried not to cry.
