Brooklyn
It felt weird to be in my room. It was obvious that someone cleaned my room while I was gone, even though I told them not to bother.
I've been home for a couple of days now and the boys have been in the studio and the girls are at work. Jennie became good friend with everyone which was great.
I've been scrolling through my Instagram feed for the past hour. It's 3:45 in the afternoon, the time I'm expecting someone to be back. laying down in bed is much more fun when you are lazy. But once you are told to do it till you are 'fully recovered', it's not pleasant.
As for my job, Ashley knew what happened. She called me once I got home and practically screamed at me for twenty minutes straight. My stomach growled disturbing my thoughts.
I reached for my crutches which was by the end of my bed. I helped myself get out of bed, and made my way outside. As I was going down the stairs, I only used one of my crutches.
The house was still empty and I still struggled to walk. I went into the kitchen and looked through the cabinets that I can reach.
I looked up and found a box of cereal that was at the top shelf. Crap, I thought to myself. I grabbed a bad stool and placed it in front of me. I pulled myself up on it and helped myself stand up on it. I balanced myself on the crutches but I was wobbling.
"We're home!" A masculine voice shouted. "Brooke?"
"In the kitchen." I shouted back. I reached for the box as I was controlling my balance.
"What the fuck are you doing." I turned around to see Luke looking panicked.
"I was hungry." I replied. Calum shook his head and walked over to me. He offered a hand which I ignored. I continued reaching for the box but I lost my balance. Screaming, I fell back on Luke who caught me. He was holding me bridal style looking at me looking a bit annoyed.
"This is why you should wait for us to get home. We just can't trust you alone now can we." He said. I kissed his cheek before he put me down on the counter top.
"Well you people where taking so long." I said. He shook his head and took the cereal box and gave it to me.
"Don't care, what I wasn't here to catch you?" He said grabbing a bottle of beer from the fridge. I shrugged whilst eating the cereal.
"How was the studio?" I asked. Luke took a sip of beer before answering.
"Good, we've got only two more songs to record and we're done." He said. I smiled and continued eating. He was on his phone leaving me to stare at him.
He was wearing a Guns 'N' Roses shirt and ripped jeans. His hair looked fluffy and his lip ring was gone. It was gone.
"Where the fuck is your lip ring?" I asked.
"I fell out 'coz it was to small." He said with his eyes glued to his phone.
"Well get a new one." I instructed waving the box of cereal in the air. He looked different and mature without them. Luke laughed as if I was joking which made me glare at him.
"I can't, the hole is closing."
"Give me a safety pin and I'll re-open it." I smiled. He looked at him mouthed "no"
"Well it suck that you don't have a lip ring anymore." I said looking away from him. "Why is that?" He asked.
"Oh nothing." He walked closer to me.
"Tell me." I pushed him lightly and shook my head. Luke walked towards me again, resting his hands on either side of my legs, looking at me.
"I'm not used to it." I said quietly, avoiding his eyes.
"Hmm, really?" He had a smirk plastered on his face. I looked at him and placed my hand on his face, covering his features. He took my hand off and continued smiling.
"You smell like sweat, leave." I said.
"Nah, I'm good here." Luke stood up properly. He was a bit shorter as I was sitting on the counter top. "Um, can we talk about... Something." He said in a serious tone.
"What about?"
"We'll take about it later, like you said I smell like sweat." I chuckled. I stop eating the cereals and sake to help me get down.
"I might skip dinner tonight. I'm already full." I grabbed my crutches and began to walk to away.
"Okay." He said. I made my way back to my room.
-------
It's almost 9 and everyone are downstairs watching a movie. I'm in my bed, waiting for Luke to talk to me.
I've been thinking about what it could be about but I genuinely have no clue as to what it could be.
He walked in the room wearing a white shirt and grey joggers. He seemed nervous walking near me. He sat down next to me in silence.
"What are we?" He said all of the sudden. I didn't know how to respond. Mainly because I didn't know for myself what we are or where we stand.
"I don't know." I said.
"I mean, I'm not gonna force anything on you, but I just what to know what I am to you." I placed my hand over his, looking at him.
"I love you and I always will." I said. He looked at me and smiled. "I love you too."
"What do you want us to be?" I asked, leaning over, resting my head on his shoulder. Luke intertwined our hands and put it towards him.
"I'm not going to force you into anything okay? But I want to be with you. I'm not going to do the mistakes I did back then." I say there in silence. I already knew I wanted to be with him. I just took a minute to take it all in.
Never once in the past weeks did I thought that this would happen."Brooklyn?" He said. I pulled my hand away and sat up looking at him. "So?" I pulled him into a kiss, taking him by surprise but eventually he relaxed. He leaned back on the bed pulling me along with him. I felt his heart beat against my hand that kept me balanced.
I pulled away and laid down next to him. I smiled to myself as I stared at the ceiling. Luke sat up looking at me with a smile. "I'd love to be with Hemmings."
"Fuck yeah!" He jumped up from the bed and jumped around my room like an idiot. I burst into laughter and so did he. Luke sat back down on the bed and looked at me saying "I love you so much."
