Brooklyn

The past week with Luke has been great. My leg is better than before and I can walk but they wouldn't let me walk on my own. They still believe that I need the crutches.

I have asked Ashley is I could get back to work as soon as possible and she gladly granted my request. I have kept my cast on which feels uncomfortable when I walk but the doctors said I only have to keep it on for two weeks more.

Right now, I am in Ashley's house, helping her sort out her schedules for next years. No one knew I was here considering I left early in the morning.
Yes, I drove my car here and It was the most painful journey I've ever been on.

"So the concert hall in Amsterdam has been booked on the day you want but they said that the Thursday before is free." I said, looking at Ashley who was typing on her MacBook.

She looked up and thought about the offer for a moment before answering.
"Is it possible to get from Canada to Amsterdam in a day?"

"Possibly, but if you can't then you could have a day off in Canada and get a one way travel ticket. That way you'll have time to rest and rehears before the actual show." I said. She nodded and continued to work on her songs. With my own laptop, I wrote an email to the owners of the concert hall say that it would be great to play there and if possible to email me if there are any later dates.

I continued to send emails to the venues that she wanted to play on while she drafted her songs. It's almost 10 which means that Luke and others should be up by now. It is Sunday so they all had a day off.

"Brooke, how's things between you and Luke? I mean are you happy?" Ashley asked, taking a break from writing. No one really asked me about how I felt about mine and Luke's relationship, they just congratulated me and told me they were happy for me and him.

"Yeah, I'm happy." I smiled and looked at her. She was smiling back at me as if she was trying to hide something from me. "What?" I asked. She blinked multiple of times and shook her head.

"N-nothing." She stuttered. I was not convinced by the tone of her voice or her actions but I left it.

"You know, I really do think that he is the one for you." I looked at her and my smile just got wider. "When I met, you were miserable. No offence." She chuckled and I chuckled along with her. "But now, you seem happier and stronger than before."

"It's him." I said. Ashley, turned her whole body to face me, watching my cheeks turn a light shade of pink.
"I know." She said. My phone rang catching our attention. The looked at the screen and saw Luke's name.

"Speaking of the devil." I said before picking up.

"Hello." I said, learning back down on the grey couch.

"Where are you?!" Luke screamed on the phone. Ashley chuckled and went back to writing her songs.

"I'll be back." I said to Ashley and walked out of the room and into the kitchen.

"I'm at Ashley's, calm down." I said.

"I'm not gonna calm down, you were gone I didn't know where you were and neither does Hannah."

"Luke, I'm fine."

"I'm coming over there." He said before hanging up. I looked at the phone and saw three missed calls from Hannah. I walked back to the lounge and sat back down on the couch.

"Well I guess you have another visitor."
Ashley looked at me and groaned.

"By the way, he did messaged me a earlier and to piss him off I told him you went to play football with Brendon." She said.

"Did he believe it?" Ashley nodded and laughed.

half an hour passed and Luke hasn't arrived at Ashley's house. It worried me a little but I knew he would be fine. In the meantime, Ashley has managed to fall asleep on the couch with hey hard hanging off the edge.
I decided that we've done enough work for the day and turned off the laptops and organised the papers for the tour. There was a knock on the door while I was in the middle of tidying.

"It's open!" I shouted. Ashley was fast asleep on the couch and did not flinched when I shouted.
The tall blonde walls in the room with a brown paper bag. My eyebrows frowned as I looked at him.

"Food." He replied, placing the food down on the centre table. He then looked at me and glared.

"Yes? Can I help you?" He sat down next to me placing his had around me shoulder.

"Never leave the house without no one knowing." He stayed with a straight face. It made me smile the way he tries to keep me grounded while I'm still healing. Looking at his lips and to his mesmerising eyes, I answered with a kiss.

"I promise not to leave the house without no one knowing." I said afterwards. The warmth of his body made me comfortable as I rested on his chest.

"How long has she been asleep." The vibration of his voice caused me to look up at the sleeping girl across us.

"About twenty minutes. She fell asleep when I stopped talking to her." I chuckled and played with the string of his hood.

"Are we moving on too fast?" Out of nowhere, he asked the questions, making me pull away from him.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, I did come back here to get you back but I feel like we're moving on too fast." He explain as he help my hand in his.

"If you don't want to be like this then-"

"No no, this is what I've always wanted but, I'm just feeling like I've pushed you into being in a relationship and I don't want you to feel like that." I shook me head and went back to rested my head on his chest.

"Maybe I haven't fully forgiven you, but trust me, this is what I've wanted since you left." It was true that I was still upset he left me that way but I've never been this happy since that day. Maybe we were rushing into things.

He took my hand once again and brought to his lips, kissing it and placing it near his heart.
