"Kyle are you okay?"asked Vanessa .She had given him an packet of ice to keep against his forehead .What was going on?why was his life so messed up at the moment ?.He was starting to see ghostly figures and hear strange things.The worst part was, he did know who to approach.Who was going to give him answers?.
After school he and his friends were walking towards the exit. Kyle's footsteps were not steady."Kyle!"called out Vanessa."Can I give you a ride home?she asked."You are in no state to walk home by yourself".she said giving him a pointed look."Who could decline such an offer from such a gorgeous girl?"he asked smiling.He was sure all the guys would want to strangle him.All the guys at school were waiting to ask Vanessa to the homecoming.
He said bye to his friends and got in the car."So Kyle, what happened to you today?"Vanessa asked looking concerned."I am sure everything that happened to you today is connected". she said.Kyle thought about it.Maybe she was right.They arrived at his house and she helped him inside.Unfortunately for Kyle His mom was at home."Kyle!"she cried and came running to him after having a look at his state.His face had bruises and so did his hands and legs.
"Thank you for bringing him home my dear"she told Vanessa."Would you like to stay for lunch"Lisa asked her."It's okay Mrs Sanders,I will come over another time."she said and left."Kyle are you okay sweetie?"inquired Lisa."I am okay mom"he told her.His phone started to ring and it was Leo."Hello"he answered."Hey man,want to hang out at Sandy's cafe?"."Sorry man I am not in a great mood."he said."Alright take care bro see you later".he said and hung up.
"Mom I am going to the library,I need to check up on something "he announced . "Where do you think you are going mister.?"she inquired."you need to eat something."she also stated that he was weak at the moment."mom I need to go to the library" he pleaded."Okay I need to go to the hospital."she said."Better eat something when you get back"she said giving him a stern look .He was going to go to the library and see who was king Lucas.Hopefully the library gave him answers."yes ma'am"he muttered.
