Kyle was on his way to the library when a voice from behind said"Would you like to have your fortune read my child?".He turned around and came face to face with an old man who was holding a pack of cards in his hand."No thanks"he replied and started to walk away."See you around Mr Sanders"he called out.Kyle froze in his tracks and turned around really fast he felt dizzy."How do you know my name?"he asked in panic."I am a fortune teller ,I know a lot of things."he said stating the obvious.
"Come and take a seat ,I will tell you about your future."he motioned to Kyle to take the seat next to him.Kyle took a seat in an empty rusted chair next to the old man." Please stretch out your hand "he requested him.Kyle shrugged and did so.
"You are no ordinary human being my boy"said the man casually. Kyle looked at him aghast and asked"Can you explain?". "Do you like listening to stories?"he asked Kyle giving him a quizzical look."Yes I do "replied Kyle ."Once upon a time ..."he started and Kyle gave him a look and said"Jesus old man, can you start the story saying something other than once upon a time? .Hearing this the fortune teller chuckled and said"Not very far from Hawaii was a magical island called Andros , the people on the island respected their kings a lot.The last ruler of the island was King Lucas Icaria .He was the most powerful king of all the rulers they had because he had a magic pendant that connected him to the force that kept the island above the water."from where did he get it ?"asked Kyle inquisitively ."the ancient books say that while Lucas was a little boy he was playing near Ricados which was the exact center of the island.He found it inside a box which had a note saying "do not touch".Since Lucas was too small to read he did opened the box and took it".He said with a worried look on his face.
"After the little prince went home with the pendant hanging on his neck ,his parents were extremely shocked.That pendant had a lot of magic which was too much for the little boy to carry".he explained."why can't he just remove the pendant and put it back?"Kyle asked."The king took the pendant and threw it away".he said."this is where the real story starts."he sighed.
