The last hour of the day was psychology.Kyle loved Psychology classes .Their teacher was Mrs James.She had a great sense of humor.Kyle went to his classroom.He was in the same class as Vanessa and Leo.He went and took his seat next to Leo."Hey man"said Leo. "Hey" replied Kyle.Their teacher walked into the classroom like a happy child walking into a toy shop."Good afternoon class"she said loudly. "Good afternoon"The whole class replied with a lot of enthusiasm. "Today we are going to read about Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory"she said.After that the whole class became quiet and listened to her as she explained the theory.
"Can I come in Mrs James?"asked Vanessa standing at the door .She looked like she was out of breath.She had tied her hair into a messy bun.It made her look cuter than usual.Tiny strands of hair were sticking to her forehead.Her face had turned pink ,maybe she ran to get to class. "I see that you have finally decided to join us Ms Stewart." smirked the psychology teacher. "I am extremely sorry ma'am,I got held up in practice." she said looking down at her feet. "Okay please take your seat."gestured Mrs James. The rest of the class went in a flash.At the end of the class,Mrs James announced that they had an assignment to complete and assigned each person a partner to work with .Kyle and Vanessa were made partners . They decided to meet up on Sunday to start working on it. The sound of the bell ringing pierced through the empty hallways.The sound was not very pleasant but it always bought smiles to students faces.All the students ran out of their classrooms like wild cattle let loose. "See you on Sunday "winked Vanessa and then left. Kyle could not go home with his friends because he had detention along with Nicole and Vanessa.He went towards the home room squeezing himself past crowds of people.
He went to the classroom and found a locked door with a note that read"Fortunately for the three of you naughty children I had to go home early and your detention starts from tomorrow." The note was signed by none other than the principal.Kyle was grinning from ear to ear.He started to walk toward the exit .The hallways were empty ,there was no one because everyone would have gone home.He did not have basketball practice today so he was free to leave in peace.
As he left the school he heard a familiar voice calling out to him.He turned around and it was Elliot, his new mentor. "Hello Elliot "Kyle shook his hand.He was wearing a leather jacket over a white t-shirt."What brings you to Joseph's high?" he inquired. "I am here to enroll myself in your school"he chuckled."What!"Kyle cried. "Relax I am here to pick up my daughter"he said. "Hey dad"said Vanessa coming behind him. "Vanessa,you are Elliot's daughter?"he asked in disbelief. "Yes "she replied. "So you know what is happening to me ?"he started to get angry. "Why didn't you tell me Vanessa?"he asked in a soft voice ."You knew I was suffering ,you knew everything and didn't tell me,I trusted you"he said. "Kyle I.."she started. "I want you both to explain and no more excuses."he aid crossing his arms. "I want to know everything"he added.
"Okay "said Vanessa."We used to live in New Jersey and one day ,The goddess of Andros appeared in our house and told us to move here "she said. She said that" the king of Andros had taken a rebirth as promised "she shrugged."So you came here to see me?"Kyle asked."Yes "Vanessa replied."You walked up to me on the first day of class and became friends with me because I was the king." he continued to question her. "Kyle I wanted to tell you everything tomorrow ."she said looking concerned. "I am sorry if you got hurt"she said." Son, Vanessa and I thought of telling you tomorrow,But you demand it now we will start your training today"Elliot said smiling."Will you come over for lunch?"he asked.Kyle thought about it and said"Alright let me tell my mom.
Kyle's mom didn't mind because she was out of town for three days for an important surgery.So he went to the Stewart's house in their car.The house was a 10 minute drive from school .The went inside large gates revealing a beautiful house ,"It is a beautiful palace"Kyle thought himself.It was neatly polished and it had two floors.The backyard had a grand swimming pool and the side of the pool had a small lawn with a few targets . He was greeted by Mrs Stewart who stuffed him with all types of food.The lunch was fantastic he had pasta,sizzlers with steamed rice and chocolate ice cream for dessert.Her sister had not yet returned from school.

After lunch Vanessa and Elliot lead him to the backyard.It was a quiet place.The sky had turned dark with clouds.It looked like it was going to rain.The place was absolutely stunning.The sky looked like a smaller version of Bora lights.The sky was absolutely magnificent .Kyle whistled appreciatively. Vanessa turned to him and said"Kyle ,the reason I bought you here is because I want to see what you can do." It started to drizzle and the water drops rolled of his cheeks.Kyle had always loved the rain.The sky rumbled with thunder.
"Now Kyle concentrate on the water in the pool and the air in the sky imagine them coming together and moving toward you"said Elliot.Kyle imagined as he was told and concentrated very hard but nothing happened. "hmm"said Elliot scratching his head. "You should try again mate."he said. Kyle concentrated this time and when he opened his eyes he could not believe what he was seeing.
