Bialya
September 4th

The desert’s night wind blew cold air and Megan de-camouflaged herself and sat up confused and in pain. ‘Where am I? This isn’t Mars. The moon? The sand is different.’ She thought to herself looking around. Then it struck her. “Hello Megan! I’m on Earth.” She said and rose to her feet and began to walk down the slope. ‘But how did I get here? And why am I wearing this costume? And why does my head hurt so much?’ she thought to herself placing her hand on her head. “Is this a dream?”  She asked herself. Suddenly something like a comet bashed into the ground before her. She shielded her eyes from the sand flying and then looked at the boy in front of her who seemed infuriated. She looked at his black shirt. It had the red symbol S of superman. “Wait, I have seen that symbol. Are you superman?” She asked him. That seemed to infuriate the boy more and he yelled frustrated and tore off the symbol on his shirt and lurched at a startled Megan. She used her flight and jumped out of the way. He punched a large crater in the place she had stood. He turned to and leapt at her and she jumped into the air and floated just in time as he punched the sand. She looked at him and he bound for her in a single jump trying to attack her. She used her psyche and created a mind barrier between her and him which he tried to break through sending them both flying in opposite directions to the ground. He got to his feet and turned and jumped again. In a single bound he covered almost a hundred feet making a crater wherever he landed next. Megan got up and watched him go. ‘Not a dream…a nightmare.’ She thought to herself softly scared for her life.

Kaewa sat up with the worst head ache she had ever gotten. 'Night? Why is it night?' She asked herself looking at the moon. 'Wait! Why am I in a desert?' she thought looking at the sand around her. Kaewa stood up and held her aching head. 'Where am I?' she thought looking around. 'Starheights isn't a desert.' She looked down at her clothes; she was in her Streak outfit. 'And why am I vibrating at Streak speed?' She thought looking at her hand and slowed down herself until she came to a complete stand-still. She felt something in her ear. She touched her ear and pulled out a round metallic device. 'A comm set? I don't have a comm set.' She looked at it strangely. 'Who was I talking to? Who is on the other end?' She asked herself. Suddenly something crashed into the ground beside her and she was quick enough to dodge it. She waited for the sand to clear and saw a boy with a ripped open shirt staring at her frustrated. 'Why do I feel like I know him?' she asked herself. He seemed to breathe and calm down the more he looked at her. She stood her ground and didn't move and he did the same. 'He looks like superman? No there's something else...he looks like...'she thought but he suddenly shook his head as if coming out of a spell as he looked behind her. She turned to look behind her as well. Sand was rising alerting her of approaching vehicles. He leapt into the air and jumped in front of them. They began firing at him. 'Crap!' she thought and ran at Streak speed and pushed him out of the bullets' way. He got to his feet with the same angry expression he first had and turned to her. She looked back at him concerned. His expression seemed to calm down just be looking at her. Guns began to shoot at them again. He stood in front of her to protect her. 'You'll get killed.' She thought and was about to push him out of the way and run with him but the bullet already struck his skin. She watched it get dented and fall to the ground. She stared. 'Or not...So, like Superman.' He jumped forward with the soldiers still shooting at him picked up the tank and held it over his head and thrashed it into the Humvee blowing up both the vehicles and the fire burned off the remnants of his shirt. The flames blazed sky high and the soldiers were unconscious. He turned and looked at her one last time before he leapt into the air and disappeared leaving her too stunned to move in the rising sand.

The sun shone bright and Robin got to his feet with an aching head. 'What happened? What is going on?' He thought to himself as he held the rocky mountain for support. He peeked through the edge and saw dust rising in the horizon and understood vehicles were approaching. He climbed on to the rock and hid himself. He looked down and watched a vehicle filled with military personnel driving away. "Those are Bialyan republican army uniforms." He said to himself in recognition. He raised his computer to his eye level and typed. "But what are Bialyans doing in...uh...Bialya?" He found where his G.P.S located him at. "Okay, better question...what am I doing in Bialya?" He asked. Then he noticed the date at the edge of the hologram. "In September? What happened to March?" Robin asked confused. "Better radio batman." He decided but a sudden memory sprang at him. "Maintain radio-silence at all times." Batman said standing in front of a holographic monitor with the map of Bialya on it. "Or...not." Robin said. He jumped off the edge and landed like a cat on his feet. He got up and noticed a torn piece of black cloth on the ground. He walked over to it and picked it up. 'What was going on?' He thought again.
