11-TERRORS.

New Orleans

September 14th

"This is Cat Grant reporting live from New Orleans historic French quarter, where the Martian Man-hunter and Superman are battling against the so-called Terror Twins who had been on a three state rampage through the South." The reporter said as the camera zoomed out and showed the Leaguers in mid-air over the bridge that seemed to be partially demolished. Cars were hurled at them one after the other and Man-hunter density shifted through them while Superman thrashed it to the ground. The boy jumped off the ground from the other side of the bridge holding his sister's hand and threw his sister into superman and pushed himself at Man-hunter. The two leaguers grabbed their assailant's arms and tossed them side-ways into a ware-house down below. The terror twins sat up rubbing their head and taking in their surroundings. The warehouse seemed to be for a circus or a carnival with its giant clown heads and odd looking games and stalls. They got to their feet reading themselves to fight the Leaguers again. Suddenly they heard a click as a collar was placed around their neck and arms wrap around them. Tommy turned to see Aqualad holding him and Red Tornado holding down Tuppence. "That don't feel right." Tommy said in his southern accent as they struggled against their captors and an odd sensation overcame his body. Tommy tried to harness his super strength and haul Aqualad over him. "My strength." He realized. "But I done just gone toe to toe with Superman." Tommy said looking back at Aqualad. "Congratulations." Connor said drawing his attention forward. "It's more quality time than he's ever given me." Connor said as he stepped into the light. Tommy locked his eyes with Connor who was dressed exactly like him and looked like him. Miss Martian appeared beside him as she walked towards Tuppence and placed her hand on Tuppence's shoulder. "Got your inspiration, sister Tuppence?" Connor said in Tommy's southern slang. "I believe I do, brother Tommy." Miss Martian said shape shifting into Tuppence. "Somebody tell me what's going on." Tommy demanded. "It's simple. They're under arrest." Batman said coming out from the shadows and placing two identical inhibitor collars on them.

Belle Rev Parish

September 16th

Megan still disguised as Tuppence fidgeted with her restraints. She sat beside Connor (who looked like Tommy) in the Belle Rev prison transport. She looked at the armed guard who was keeping a close eye on them. She turned to the other end and saw Mr. Freeze the ice villain sitting looking grim. She turned her gaze in front of her. Junior the ice villain raised a flirty eye brow at her and began making kissy faces at her. Megan looked away disgusted. And she began to think of how she got into this.

"This past fourth of July, four ice villains staged simultaneous attacks." Batman's voice said and Miss Martian stood beside Connor and Calder while Tornado and Man-hunter stood behind them. Superman stood behind Batman watching the briefing as the holographic screen projected the mug shots of the villains. "Mr. Freeze, Icicle Junior, Killer Frost and Captain Cold were all easily apprehended." He paused. "Perhaps too easily." He said turning to the screen. "Cold and Frost were immediately sent to Belle Rev penitentiary a federal prison designed to house super criminals." He said and the screen changed with the two villain's picture above a picture of the fortified looking prison walls. "The seventeen year old icicle junior was sent to a juvenile facility, Mr. Freeze to his usual cell in Arkham asylum. But Freeze petitioned the court to be declared legally sane and Junior sued to be tried as an adult." Batman said. Freeze's and Junior's pictures moved to the sides of the Belle Rev picture. "As a result both await transport to Belle Rev, which seems to have been the goal all along." Batman said walking forward. "I'm sending the two of you in to find out why." Batman said looking at her Connor. "Who inside the prison will know their true identities?" Calder asked, stepping up as the leader to protect his team mates. "No one. We can't be certain the prison staff isn't compromised." Batman finished.
