Devin's PoV:
I look at my phone to check the time I was shocked to see that it was already 4:23 am. "Crap, I needed to give Nat her meds before she want to bed." I said to myself as I walk to our dorm building.
I finally made it to the room, as I open the door I see Nat asleep on her bed I walk toward the bathroom. I suddenly stop walking and look back at Nat and see that there is someone else in the bed as well.
I walk closer to them and see that the other person in the bed was Michael! "Holy Crap!" I whispered to myself seeing he was holding her protectively. I took out my phone and took a quick photo of them and started to AJ.
D:-(the photo) look at what I found when I got home! -
A:- Is that Michael?- he responded immediately.
D:- Yep and I don't know why though. -
A:- Well that explains why I couldn't find him when I got home.-
Nat shifted slightly in her sleep and closed any space that was between them. At that point I walked out of the room and went to the lobby to get some sleep on the sofa.
Natalie's PoV:
I slowly open my eyes and the light that shown in throw the window blinded me. Something warm was moving next to me and when I tried to sit up an arm was tightly wrapped around my waist. I look next to me to see a sleeping Michael holding me close to him. He slowly yawned and then opened his eyes that immediately went wide when he saw me next to him. He quickly let go of me and sat upright.
"I'm sorry. I didn't even remember falling asleep here last night." he said climbing out of my bed.
How am I suppose to react to waking up next to the guy that I have been crushing on for the past month and a half. "Uhhh..." was my only response to him. 'I must be an awful person.' I thought to myself.
"Yeah...so...do you need anything before I go?" he asked blushing up a storm and awkwardly standing in the center of the room.
"I don't feel comfortable asking that from you. I'm not a 100% comfortable that Devin needs to help me." I started turning as red as a tomato.
"Oh...Okay, I'm gonna go home then if you need anything that I could help you with don't hesitate to call me." He told me scratching the back of his head.
"I will." I said as he opened the door to leave. "And Michael..." He turned back to me, "Thanks for coming last night." I thanked him smiling.
"Any time Natalie." He smiled back and left the room.
Not even a minute later Devin rushes into the room. "Holy crap Nat! What happened last night? Why did I find Michael, the guy you've been crushing on, asleep in YOUR bed!" She screamed in fangirl mode.
"I kinda fell off of my bed last night and the first person that popped into my head was him so I called him. He came over and got me back onto my bed, he wanted to make sure that I wouldn't do anything stupid so he said that he would stay till you got home. We watched some Doctor who and had pizza for dinner. I don't really remember anything after the 4th episode of Doctor Who and I eventually fell asleep." I told her trying to remember things from last night.
Michael's PoV:
I hadn't even opened my eyes yet, all I knew was that I felt warm. I yawned a bit and slightly opened my eyes. The first thing I see is Natalie laying next to me with a small smile on her beautiful lips. Then it hit me, 'I'm fell asleep in the same bed as Natalie!'. "I'm sorry. I didn't even remember falling asleep here last night." I quickly said and climbed off the bed as fast as I could. She didn't respond to my apology and just stares at me.
"Uhhh..." she left her mouth open in shock.
My mind went blank I couldn't think of what to say. "Yeah...so...do you need anything before I go?" I asked her some what uncomfortable. I felt uncomfortable standing in the middle of the room.
"I don't feel comfortable asking that from you. I'm not a 100% comfortable that Devin needs to help me." she said as her face turns as red as a cooked lobster.
"Oh...Okay, I'm gonna go home then if you need anything that I could help you with don't hesitate to call me." I told her scratching the back of my head. I turn and open the door.
"I will" she said to me.
I turn to walk out of her room.
"And Michael..." I turned back to face her quickly. "Thanks for coming last night." She said smiling.
"Any time Natalie." all I really could respond with was an embarrassing smile and I quickly left the room.
After I shut the door I started walking through the hall with my eyes glued on the floor. I saw someone's feet run past me but I paid them no attention. "What did I do? She probable doesn't even like me the way I like her." I said to myself as I get to the sidewalk to walk home.
*Beep Beep*
I look down at my phone. It's AJ calling me. I answered the phone with a sigh of relief. "Thank God, I was just about to call you! I need some advise." I told him trying to stay calm.
"What happened with you and Nat last night?" He asked yelling into the phone.
"How did you know I was at Natalie's?" I asked 'He had left before I went to her place.' I thought to myself.
"Um...Wild guess." He slightly laughed.
"I haven't told anyone. HOW DO YOU KNOW!!" I yelled into the phone and started running home.
I realized that AJ hung up on me which just made me angrier.
Once I got home I walked to AJ's room to question him. "AJ get out here now!" I yell at him as I pound on the door.
"Not happening dude. I don't want to die today." He shouted from the other side of the door.
"Fine! Just tell me how you found out?!" I tried to lower my voice.
"If I tell you, you can't kill me or my provider of said information." He said then cautiously opened the door and peeked out to see my response.
I nod my head in response as he sighed in relief.
"I got this sent to me at 4:25 this morning." He said showing me his phone.
I took his phone to see the picture that was on the screen. "Who sent you this?" I asked him as I slid down the wall.
"Devin sent it to me." He told me as he opened the door the rest of the way.
"I don't want people to get the wrong impression of her." I slowly looked up at him.
"If it makes you feel any better I haven't and won't show it to anyone." He said crouching down next to me.
"Thanks I appreciate that." I told him. "I need to go get ready I'm playing at Ray's Bar down the street tonight." I continued.
"I'll make sure to leave you alone for the day then." AJ said helping me off the floor.
I walked to my room and shut the door behind me as I picked up my guitar. The song that came to mind was one of my favorites even though it's a sad one. I started to play the cords on my guitar.
