Chapter 12

(The next day in the café )

Natalie's PoV:

I walk over to Michael and hand him a glass of water. As he bent over to grab it he gave me a kiss on my cheek and I blush.

"You look good today." He whispers in my ear.

"Thanks but I'm working right now so behave." I tell him smiling.

"I want to ask you something can we talk when you get off work?" he asks me with a small smirk on his lips, "I'll stick around till you're done. When does your shift end?" He asks.

"My shift ends in about 20 minutes." I tell him as he picks his guitar back up.

I walk back to the server's station to print a check for a customer.

"Hey Nat did I just see Michael kiss you? Are you two a thing now?" my friend Paige asks me with a smile.

"Yeah we went out last night and he took me back stage of a concert." I tell her quickly so he wouldn't hear us. We peaked out to see him take a seat at the counter waiting to be served. "Do you want to take his order?" I ask Paige.

Michael's PoV:

I look up from the menu I was looking at and see a girl with short blond hair and brown eyes. "Hi I'm Paige what can I get you today?" she asks with a smile.

"Umm... Where is Natalie?" I ask looking around the café for her.

"She is handling something right now." she never dropped her smile.

"Okay then I guess I'll have some coffee." I tell her not looking directly at her.

"Kay then I'll go get that for you." She said and walked away. I couldn't find Natalie anywhere.

M:- Is everything okay? Someone else is my server you're usually my server.-

N:- Yeah everything is fine I have some checks to take care of.-

M:- Okay I'll see you in a little bit.-

N:- I'll be out in a few minutes.-

I finished my coffee and Paige handed me the check and I put some cash down as Natalie comes out.

"Hey you ready to go?" She asks and kisses my cheek.

"Yep. Do you want to come over to my place?" I ask in return.

"Sure, lets go." She said and I took her hand and the two of us walk out of the café.

We get back to my apartment and took a seat on the sofa.

"So what did you want to ask me?" She smiles at me as she scooted closer to me.

"How would you like to do a gig with me?" I ask her as I wrap my arm around her shoulders.

"Where at?" She asks smiling.

"Does Ray's sound good for you?" I ask her with a smirk on my lips.

"Sounds perfect to me." She answers smiling. "When is it?" she continued to ask.

"Tomorrow night at 9ish." I tell her as I start to play with her hair.

"Sure I don't have to work and I don't have any classes either." She said and gives me a quick kiss then lays her head in my lap.

"Do you want to watch Supernatural or a movie?" I ask her softly.

"What kind of movie are you thinking of?" She asks looking up at me.

"Marvel or DC?" I counter her question.

"Marvel." She replies with a smile pulling at the corner of her lips.

"Iron Man, Captain America, or Avengers?" I continued to ask.

"How's about Ant Man?" She questioned.

"I haven't seen it yet, did you?" I tell her rubbing circles on the back of her hand.

"No but I do know it's on FX tonight." She smiles and reaches for the TV remote, and accidentally falls of the sofa.

I couldn't help but laugh my head off.

"I hate you." She says as she got up off the floor and she crossed her arms.

"No you don't, you know you love me." I tell her as I stand up and wrap my arms around her waist and pick her up off the floor.

"Well maybe I do but you still laughed at me." She said with a frown on her face but a gleam in her eyes.

"It reminded me of the day you fell off of your bed and called me. It took everything to not rush over and make sure you were okay and not laugh when you told me how you fell." I tell her as I put my head on her shoulder.

"So Ant Man." She asks as she gets out of my arms, Natalie grabs the remote and sits back down on the sofa.

I lay down with my head in her lap as she pressed play on the movie.

The movie ended and I looked at the clock, 11:56pm. "Natalie?" I ask as I sit up. I look at her face and see her asleep on her side all curled up. I pull a blanket over her and kiss the top of her head. I walk to my room and quickly crawl into my bed. I quickly fall asleep.
