Chapter 9

( 4 weeks later Natalie gets her cast off)
Natalie's PoV:
Devin and I walk out of the doctors office. I went in for the doctor to check out my leg and arm. I got my casts off about 5 days ago and start physical therapy next week to strengthen my leg and arm.
"Do you want to go out tonight?" She asked as we walked home.
"Sure what's on your mind?" I ask her.
"I heard that Michael is playing at Ray's tonight. You want to go and surprise him?" She asked me smiling.
"He's been playing there a lot lately but sure." I told Devin as we entered our dorm building. 'I wonder why he's been playing at Ray's more lately than the café.' I thought to myself.
"So then lets go ready to go out and have some fun." Devin said as we got to our room.
I started looking through my closet to find something that would get Michaels attention even from stage. I ended up choosing my black skinny jeans, white t-shirt, white convers, and my black leather jacket. "You read?" I called to Devin who was in the bathroom.
"Yeah just one more minute then we can go." she tells me as I put my anti-possession necklace on.
Devin walks out of the bathroom and we make our way to the bar.

Devin and I walk in and the first thing I notice was Michael up on stage.
"Hey everyone I'm going to start off tonight with Carrie Underwood's 'see you again' hope you enjoy it." He said smiling.
"I love this song!" I heard a girl scream as he started to play his guitar.

Said goodbye, turned around

You are the light I follow" Michael continued to sing as I went to the bar and got a beer.
"So do you think that he has saw you yet?" Devin asks me before she takes a sip of her scotch n' soda.
"No, not yet at lest." I told her and took another swig from my bottle.
A little while later Michael finished his song and starts talking to the crowd again. "Hey this next song I'm dedicating to a very special girl in my life. I have fallen hard for her." He said smiling wildly.
His eyes widen as they land on me as he tried to play his guitar.
"I wonder who he's talking about?" I ask Devin.
Michael started to sing to the mystery girl. About half way through the first verse my heart starts to breaking as I think about the girl he was singing to. 'It couldn't be me he wouldn't even kiss me let alone dedicate a song to me.' I thought.
"I want to go home now, my leg hurts a bit." I made up an excuse to get me out of there as soon as possible.
"Okay I'll take you home dearie." She told me and we walked out of the bar.

Michael's PoV:
"Hey this next song I'm dedicating to a very special girl in my life. I have fallen hard for her." I said as I see Natalie in the crowd. 'I hope she knows I'm talking about her.' I thought to myself.
I start to play my guitar and sang with a smile.
