Chapter 3

-A week later-

Natalie's PoV:
I'm finally home on spring break and my brother SJ is on his way home.
         "Hey Shrimp I'm home." SJ shouted as he walked into the house.
"SJ! " I ran over to him, "I'm so happy to see you!" I said as I gave him a big hug.
        "It's good to see you too Nat." He said releasing me from the hug. He put his bag down. " I've noticed on Facebook that you're hanging out with a specific guy lately." He said pulling up a picture of Michael and I on his phone.
      "His name is Michael he plays at the café and his roommate is friends with Devin. So we hang out quiet a bit." I explained to him so he doesn't get the wrong idea.
      "So he's only a friend?" He asked me slyly.
" Yes you idjit he's only a friend, and we are not close in any other way." I answered him.
      "Okay change of topic... How's classes going Nat?" He asked taking a seat on the sofa across the room.
      "Classes are going well we're working on butter sculpting when we get back next week." I said taking a seat next to him.
                 *Beep Beep*
My phone went of, checked the ID of the person who texted me...It was Michael.
 M:-Hey are you working today?-
          "Who is texting you?" SJ asked trying to take my phone to read my text.
"It's just Michael I forgot to tell him I went home this week for spring break." I told him.
          "Why does it matter It's not like you're dating." he said joking.
I started typing.
        N:-Sorry I forgot to tell you that I went home for spring break.-  I hit the button to send the message.
       M:- So that means no one is going to be here this week?- Michael replied in a heart beat. 
N:- Sorry I finally get to see my brother. Were is AJ I thought he was home with you.- I asked him confused.
       M:- No AJ went back to New York to see his family too, so I'm all alone.-
'That's kind of sad' I thought.
      "Hey SJ would it be okay if I invited someone over for Easter they're back at school all by them self?" I asked SJ. 
        "Sure I guess." He responded after thinking it over for a minute.
I quickly texted Michael back  M:- Hey would you like to my place for Easter?- I asked hopping that he would except the invitation.
        M:-Yeah sure how far away do you live and what is your address?- He texted back.
At this point I'm internally screaming as I start to respond. 
        N:- We live about two hours away from the school in Fairway, Ohio my address is 4731 Bakers St SW. Do you have a way to get here?-  I sent back then laid my phone on my lap.
      "So who did you invite over for Easter?" SJ asked me trying to take my phone again.
 M:- Thanks and yeah I can take a bus to get to your house- Michael quickly replied.
       "Michael everyone went home for the holiday even his room mate so he is all alone so I invited him. Is there something wrong with that?" I told SJ as I grabbed my phone back. 
       N:-You don't have to take a bus. I can come and pick you up. It wouldn't be a problem.- I couldn't let him ride a bus for two hours by himself that's worse than staying at home alone.
         M:-Are you sure I don't want to be a bother.-
N:- No you're not a bother at all I'll be there at 6am on Sunday- I texted back trying not to scream.
          M:- What should I wear?-
N:-A pair of khakis, a dress shirt , and a tie- I told him he really could just wear a pair of jeans and a polo shirt but I want to see him all dressed up.
          M:-What color will you be wearing?-
N:- I will be wearing a black, blue and white dress.- I texted back smiling.
         M:-  Okay  then I'll see you later-  I had been so engaged in texting Michael that I hadn't noticed  SJ had gotten up and left the room. "SJ?" I shouted as I looked through the house for him.
"I'm in the kitchen!"  He yelled in response.
     As I made my way into the kitchen I saw a lot of take-out menus out on the table. "What are you doing?" I asked him taking a seat at the table.
            "Trying to decide what we should get for dinner seeing how we have nothing in the house to eat. So what are you in the mood for?" He explained to me.
          how's about pizza or burgers they both sound good to me." I responded " I'll be picking up Michael at 6 in the morning on Easter." I told him as I go through the menus.
          "As long as you make it to Gee's for lunch on time."  He told me "How's about a large pepperoni pizza for dinner." he asked and held up a pizza pamphlet. 
       "Sounds good to me and don't worry I will be back in time for lunch." I assured him.

Michael's PoV:
N:- Okay then I'll see you in a few days .- Natalie replied quickly to my texts.
  The waitress put my burger down in front of me. "Here you go sir." she said sweetly then gave me a wink. 
      "So I'm off to New York." AJ said walking toward me at the counter.   
"Have a good time man." I said giving him a hand shake.
       "Are you going to be okay here without me?" He asked. "Hey is Nat here I want to say 'bye' before I leave." He continued as he looked around for her.
      "She went home for spring break." I informed him.
"So you're alone for the rest of the week?" AJ asked me concerned.
     "Not exactly. Natalie invited me to Easter lunch with her family." I told him reassuringly.
"So you and Nat are spending the holidays together already?" AJ said teasing me.
      "We're not together we are just good friends and I bet that she felt bad that I was going to be alone for the holiday so she asked me out of pity." I told him thinking that was the real reason most people invite me over for events.
     "What ever you say dude." AJ said as he grabbed his duffel bag. "I'll see you later have a good time at Nat's."  He said as he walks out of the café.
       "It's official I'm all alone till Easter." I whispered to myself as I sat in the café by myself.
I ate my burger in silence. "Hey cutie how's your day going?" the waitress said as she took a seat next to me at the counter.
   "Hi?" I asked her confused.
"So.. You doing anything today? By the way my name is Taylor what's yours?" She asked as she leaned in closer toward me. 
    "Uuummm... Michael and I'm kinda busy today so, umm... bye." I said putting some money on the counter to pay for dinner. I quickly walked out of the café and back to the apartment.
      Once I got into the apartment I sat down on the sofa and turned on Netflix. As I thought about what Natalie said about her necklace and how it is the same symbol that is part of my tattoo, and how it comes from a popular TV show called Supernatural.
     "I bet it's on Netflix." I said to myself as I try to find it. After going through multiple lists I finally find the show and hit play.
