Chapter 13

Piper woke up the next morning, feeling weird. Then all that had happened last night came back to her. Oh yeah! She remembered now why she was feeling weird. They were going to meet The Gods tonight. This was so very awkward. They were going to do something that had not happened for 8000 years! Well, that was long.

Plus, how was it going to be in Olympus? How are they gonna talk? How are they gonna enter? What is she going to wear? Who is she going to talk to? How is she gonna meet all of them? The 12 Olympians?

'Hey Honey. Calm down.'

Piper jumped, startled to hear a voice behind her. She turned around to see a woman in a yellow top and shorts. Her skin was slightly tanned. And her blonde hair were plaited and rested on her shoulder. She wore yellow colored wedges with her toenails painted bright red. But her eyes were her most fascinating feature. They glowed in two different colors, golden and silver. She looked like a model picked out right from the cover of Vogue.

'Mom?

'Honey! I missed you!'

Piper hugged her mother. This seemed stupid but, she was seeing her mom after the war and lots of fighting. She needed a hug. A hug from her mother.

'I missed you too. And you look... stunning. Dad is really lucky.'

'Yes honey. And talking about your dad, I met him yesterday. He is doing really great. Apparently he got himself a role in some Fast and Furious movie. Weird things, these mortals do. But anyway, he is missing you a lot, kid. He wishes to see you. He really hopes that you return soon.'

'Yes Mom, I miss him too. I will meet him in a few days, after Camp gets over. Plus, I am really stressed. I mean, you Gods are so unpredictable. You want to meet us. Really? I thought that the Gods and their children are supposed to keep minimum contact with each other and all. And Zeus? I mean, he must hate this the most.'

'Yes, but this was his decision. Calling you to dinner.' She grinned. 'That is what he hates the most, the fact that you saved our lives. Actually, everybody's lives. You and your friends literally saved the world.'

'Yeah, that is huge.'

'I am proud of you sweetie. You are one of my favourite kids.'

'Still one of, eh?' Piper asked.

They laughed.

'But the most important question remains, what will you wear?'

'Seriously? Most important?' Piper asked, her eyebrows raised.

'Yes honey. After all, this is the 12 Olympians.'

'Of course.'

'So, show me your wardrobe and please, do pick something for Jason too. He may be cute and all but his choice sucks. So where were we?'
