As Aphrodite had said, no time had passed at Olympus. All of them had been waiting only for a minute when, Zap! They saw the small party back in the room again. Hazel, Annabeth and Piper looked at each other at the same time, and Hazel smiled. Piper was relieved, she was glad that all had gone well.
'Back? Already?' Poseidon asked puzzled.
'Yeah. Apparently, love can't be explained and all...' Hades said rolling his eyes.
'Now that we are back, let's continue. Right?' Hazel said.
Right. So, now... Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena. Brave warrior. A part of both the wars. Figured out all the prophecies. Went to Tartarus and back. And... the first child of Athena to follow the Mark of Athena and bring back the Athena Parthenos. That is just some of her major achievements.'
'Seriously? Some?' Hermes asked.
'Yes. This girl goes back a long way.' Dionysus replied winking at Annabeth.
'Er- thank you. Well, I don't think I have much to ask for. I mean, my life is perfect. I have got the perfect friends. Perfect parents- I guess. And of course, a *ahem*- perfect boyfriend. But... there is something. Actually, two. Well, first off, it wasn't only us who did everything. The seven of us, we were just a small part of it. Demigods, and of course all other creatures, from both the Camps helped us. And I think, it is not fair that we are the only ones getting "what we deserve". So, I feel that the others should get a chance to ask, too. I also want something else.' Annabeth said looking at her mother.
'Name it, dear.' Her mother said, her misty grey eyes now turning frightful silver.
'Well, I know this is asking a lot. But, I want both the Camps being united.' She paused.
AWKWARD SILENCE.
Around two years ago, Hera had switched two members of the camps and everyone had flipped out. Hera had to run away from Zeus for some months. Now, as she was asking this; she knew what consequences it would have. But, she had to convince everyone. Two camps made no sense to her. This only gave more chances for the bad guys to attack them.
Everyone looked at her.
'I understand that this creates a lot of confusion. But, we have to figure something out. If we continue this, then the attacks could become more permanent. And Thalia's tree is no longer a barrier; it is no longer protecting us. Plus, now the Greeks and the Romans share an understanding.'
At this point all the Gods started blabbering. Their bodies starting flickering. Percy gave Annabeth a weird look.
'Hey, I thought that the Gods had it all figured out between their identities.' Piper said to Chiron.
'Yeah. At least, that is what I was told. Probably all the Greek and Roman talk confused them.' Chiron replied.
'Yeah' Frank said. 'But, it did not confuse Athena. Look at that!'
Annabeth looked at Athena and understood what Frank was talking about. Athena was sitting calmly in her throne. Her face had a thoughtful expression. But then again, Annabeth thought, it always did. Athena looked at Annabeth and nodded approvingly. She stood up.
'Silence.' Her voice boomed all around even though she wasn't shouting or raising her voice. The Gods immediately stopped.
'Honestly, at least think over what the poor girl said.' Athena said. Annabeth was surprised. Her mother had never taken her side. Even in the few encounters they had had.
'It does not need thinking about, sister. And you know this very well.' Ares said.
'Athena! Listen to yourself. The Greeks and the Romans are like cats and dogs. They will never stop fighting.' Poseidon said. Percy was disappointed.
'The girl is foolish and doesn't know what she is talking about! But you! The Goddess of Wisdom!' Hades said.
'Yes, Athena.' Persephone said in her mighty voice. 'Annabeth is just an ordinary mortal. And you know better than listening to an immature demigod's silly ideas.'
'Woah!' Percy said. 'Immature? Seriously Persephone?' Percy asked in a threatening tone.
'Percy...don't!' Annabeth said. She knew that Percy had taken offence now. She appreciated it but also knew that the outcome would not be good. Because when a God and a demigod fight, the result is deadly.
'No, Annabeth. Please, let me speak. Persephone and Hades, you seriously dare to say that to Annabeth? Silly, foolish and immature?' Percy's eyes were a deadly blue now.
'The reason you are sitting here having dinner with us is because Annabeth saved your ass. What did you do? You know, we all could kill you right now, but choose not to, even though we hate you both from the bottom of our hearts, but we were taught patience and it is better that you learn it too. So shut up and listen to Annabeth!'
Percy knew that he had gone too far but he had to defend Annabeth. Nobody ever dares to insult her in front of him.
Hades laughed but Persephone stayed quiet.
'Percy Jackson! I am the God of death, underworld and the afterlife. And I can promise your afterlife isn't going to be a pleasant one. I am immortal! You think you can kill me? You think you saved our lives? You think you are greater than us?'
Hades stood up.
'AND YOU THINK THAT YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH THIS?'
'Brother!' Poseidon and Zeus said at the same time.
'Yes! I think we did save your butt and we can kill you!' Leo said.
'What did you say?' Hades asked in a low and dangerous tone.
'He says that WE CAN KILL YOU! Sheesh, Hades! One of these days you will have to consult a doctor!' Thalia said.
'THALIA GRACE. How dare you say that to my husband?' It was Persephone's turn to take offence now.
'Hey! Do not talk to my sister like that!' Jason said.
Hades was now shivering with anger. Hazel looked at Nico, nervously.
'Settle down, everyone' Zeus said.
