It is judgement day. All the ones who were with Qurion are going to receive their punishments, probably life in prison or living in the Dark Woods. Sebastian took the throne after he pierced Qurion's heart. The people have never been happier and are all in front of the palace. Everyone is cheering, the sound is heard through the outer walls of the castle. I look around the library, expecting Sebastian to be there, but I do not find him. I walk through the halls and quickly spot a maid.
'Miss, where is King Sebastian?' I ask her and she smiles at me.
'He is in his office, along with lady Lilliowy.' She bows and I smile brightly at her, making my way to the other side of the castle. The moment I want to knock, I see the door is open and I stop, just listening to what I hear.
'Lilliowy. I just opened the letter that Qurion gave me, I read it. I am going to read it to you, out loud, but sit down.' I hear the shuffling of their clothes and the chairs. I am about to knock, telling them to get come down with me because the judges are almost starting. I stop when I hear Sebastian read out loud.
Hello Sebastian,
As you know, this letter is an official one. Beside this letter of mine, there is a document, that cannot be broken, only by the one who made it and he is dead. He was dead before you were ten years old. Your grandfather signed this paper when I got a daughter and your father a son. We made sure they would marry, that way the royal line would be still in their blood. So, it is my honor to tell you who my daughter is.
Lilliowy Eduards, my daughter, a woman who is part of the revolution and who is the best friend of your lover, Genevive. Maybe it is time to let her go, you cannot even marry her anyway.
You want to know how she is my daughter, I bet you do. Let me explain. James is my real son, with my wife, Elisa. I did have a mistress, her name was Nala, Lilliowy's mother. You know the best part? James and Lilliowy did not even know they were half brother and sister.
Qurion
'In the other letter is the document, it is legal, I checked it. Ten times.' He murmurs and a gasp escapes my mouth.
'No way.' I hear him murmur and get up, rushing to the door.
With tears in my eyes I run through the hallway, my hand covering my mouth. The doors are opened behind me and I can hear Sebastian yell loudly behind me, asking me to stop. I just keep going, not stopping. Running on the walls of the castle, where the people stand below and cheer, I almost fall down to my knees to cry. I just keep running.
'Elita!' I yell and see her coming from the gardens, within seconds. She is flying in the air at the end of the wall and I jump off, holding on to her back. She says nothing and just keeps flying.
'Take me to the door Elita, please.' I murmur and she neighs, not saying a word. We keep flying and when I look back, I see Sebastian still following me.
'Stop earlier, I do not want him to follow me, please.' She quickly flies down to the ground and I softly pat her neck before getting off.
'Just walk straight, I hope to see you once again, Genevive.'
'I love you, Elita, just as I love Lilliowy and Sebastian, but they are going to marry...' She nods and I kiss her nose running down the almost invisible trail. She quickly takes off and I do not once look back. Soon the huge willow tree appears in front of me, a small door is inside of it. Swirls and flowers are etched into it, giving the door a magical feeling. This is it. This is the tree. I rush towards it and bow down when I open it. A beautiful white light is coming from it. I look down at the necklace. I clasp my fingers around it and take it off, laying it down beside the door.
'I love you Sebastian.' A tear runs down my cheek. Utopia you are something special. The moment I step through the door, the sound of his voice yelling out my name is all that I hear, while I fall into oblivion.
