His Secret

Chapter 1

I swung my leg up high striking the dummy in the neck with my right foot. I proceeded with a punch in the face with my left hand. I kept striking blows at the dummy tens times harder than the last hit. I was getting ready to hit it again when I heard someone call out.

“Chair!” I turned around kicking my leg up high, and breaking the chair in mid air. I caught one of the broken pieces from the chair, and drove it through the dummy ribs, puncturing the heart. Well at least where the ribs and heart would be located.

“Nice.” Ryan said with a clap.

“Thanks.” I said turning around. I could feel the sweat rollings down my collar, and disappearing into my shirt. I had been taking self defense ever since I met Ryan. He told me that if I was going to date him then I had to know self defense, because he wasn't always gonna be there when I needed him the most. As in he could be at work, and I could be walking or having a jog and someone could try to hurt me.

“Leslie, you wanna go out tonight?” Ryan asked me. I nodded, I needed a day out. My parents are starting to annoy the heck out of me. They're always trying to suggest a new apartment for me to move in. I mean come on it's only been a full year for me in adult hood. I understand they want to have the place to themselves now, but seriously?

Ryan suggested I'd move in with him, but I thought it would be to soon. Plus I would have to keep it a secret. We still haven't told my parents who I'm dating, and we've been dating for a year now. He says it's important that no one finds out. When he told me this I thought he was cheating on me, but he proved to me he wasn't. I still don't understand why we're a secret, but he'll come out when he's ready.

“Where to?” I asked.

“I don't know we'll figure it out when we leave.” he responded. He never knows what we're going to do til the last minute. As I was about to leave the room Ryan stopped me, and wrapped his arms around my torso. I giggled as he turned me around.

“What?” I asked as if I didn't know.

“You know you can't leave a room with me in it, and not give me a kiss.” he said with a smirk.

“I believe that is what I was just doing.” I said with a smart remark.

“Yeah I believe not. You were just scared because you thought I would reject you.” I snorted. “Yeah that's how hot I am.” he added. He dipped his head low giving me a quick peck on the lips. He tried to deepen the kiss but I pulled away.

“I'm all sweaty.” I said pointing to myself.

“Which makes it better!” he protested.

“Guys are so gross.” I muttered.

“Heard that!”

“Meant to!” I yelled as I walked out of his mini gym room, which was in the basement. I sprinted up the stairs, and found my way to his bathroom. He has a guest bathroom which was in the hall, and a master bathroom that's in his room. I like the master bathroom, because the tub and the shower is so much bigger. Plus I keep spare clothes in his room, but of course no one comes in here but me and him. That means no one will know about our relationship.

“Taking a bath!” I announced letting him know he should be no where near the bathroom door.

“Okay!” I heard him reply. I went in the bathroom to start running the bath water. My muscles are tense and need to relax, so I think soaking my body in hot water will do the trick. While the bath water is running I'm gonna go find me some clothes to change in when I get out the tub.

“Boo!” I turned around startled by the sudden sound, and saw Ryan's grinning face just inches away from mine. I would never admit it to him, but my boyfriend is sexy... not hot, but sexy! I can never keep my eyes off his face. Those gorgeous lips of his that feels so good, so right against mine. The curve of his lips! God it's such a wonderful thing. His hair that always seems a neat messy even though I don't think that's possible. I can never keep my hands out of it even now as we speak I have my hands playing with his hair. His body is sculpted the perfect way. He's not to muscular, and not to lean. He's in between.

Ryan's hand snaked around my body, and he began to pull me closer. He brought his free hand up and started to stroke my face. He started at the curve of my lips and made his way down to my hips. He leaned in slowly but I couldn't wait, so I crashed my lips against his. The kiss once again was starting to deepen, but we were cut off by the sound of water hitting the floor.

“The water!” Ryan rushed into the bathroom at an incredible speed and turned of the faucets above the tub. I ran through the water to get some towels out of the closet so we could get the water up. My cheeks were so heated. I was embarrassed, because my thoughts were so focused on him that I didn't realize I still had bath water running.

“Like I said before. I'm just that hot.” he said with a deep chuckle.

“Cocky” I mumbled.

“I'm not cocky. I just know I look good.” I rolled my eyes at his remark.

“I know your cocky, and your not that hot!” I replied.

“Oh but you still think I'm some what hot.” he turned around and flashed me his pearly whites.

“Please I bet I can pick up more guys than you can girls in a day.”

“Is that a bet?” he asked.

“I guess it is.” I replied.

“Fine bet on. What's the rules?” he asked as he swiped at the floor back and forth with the towel.

“Your supposed to let it soak up the water. Not swipe it.” I said pointing to the floor.

“Whatever.” he said getting frustrated. “Rules?”

“Right. You can not tell them it's a bet, the bet ends at midnight, and if you loose you have to tell.” His head snapped toward me when I finished stating the last rule. He knew what I was talking about. Our relationship.

“I can't do that.” he said firmly.

“What's the matter? You scared.” I challenged.

“No.” I could tell I hurt his ego big time.

“Then these are the rules.” I stated, “ Oh and we have to throw all the numbers away after the bet is over.” I added.

“Fine then the bet is on.” I could tell that my rules had hit a nerve.

“Oh and if you loose you have to move in.” his eyes gleamed as he said this.
