Chapter 8
Aimee's POV
My heart was beating so fast.
I'm pregnant! I'm gonna have a baby.
There is a living creature inside of me.
I touched my stomach and closed my eyes.
I opened my eyes and looked at Michael.
He was looking at me with absolutely no expression.
I let go of my stomach and wrapped my arms around Michael.
He wrapped his arms around me, one around my waist and one on my head.
He rested his chin on my head as I hugged him tightly.
I pulled back and looked at him.
"Michael.... What are we gonna do...."
"What do you want to do...." "I want to keep this baby... I'm not getting rid of it!" I said defensively.
"I didn't expect you to get rid of it baby! I don't want you to!"
I sighed.
"Then what are we gonna do?"
He grabbed my shoulders.
"Baby, I'll find another job! Chris will help us too! I'm sure he will! We can do this! I know we can...."
A tears rolled down the side of my face.
"But Michael, I didn't want to have a baby until I get married...."
"That's ok! We will get married someday right?"
I nodded.
"Ok, then no big deal... We got this ok?"
I nodded.
He took a hand and lifted my head for me to look at him
"I love you..." "I love you too Michael... So much...."
"But you told me you were on the pill?"
I looked down.
"Yes baby I was but.... I guess I forgot to take it."
He lifted my chin up.
"And now look. Your gonna have a baby!"
We both smiled.
"Um... We should tell Chris now..."
I sighed and took my towel off, Michael right in front of me then put my bra and panties on, then my robe.
We walked downstairs and Chris looked at us.
"Sup?"
"Chris can we tell you something?" I said softly.
"Sure..." Michael sat in the chair and I sat on his lap.
"Chris," Michael started. "Aimee is gonna have a baby..."
"GET OUTTA HERE?! CONGRATS YOU TOO!" He said with a big smile.
"Yeah but Aimee is a little nervous about the money situation. Do you think you could help us?"
"Sure man! Anything you guys need! Your letting me stay here! I'll get another job. Anything to help you guys!"
I smiled as tears started to rush down my face.
"Thank you so much Chris!"
I got up and hugged him.
He smiled and hugged me back.
"No problem! You guys are my family! I'd do anything!"
