Aimee's POV

Michael and I ended up going home around 3:30.

He was VERY embarrassed about Principal Anderson catching us kissing in my classroom, but honestly I thought it was hilarious.

On the drive home, Michael and I stopped at an ice cream shop to get ice cream.

Then we sat down and ate it there.

The thought of Bailey kept crossing my mind, distracting me.

I looked at Michael as he licked his ice cream.

I giggled.

"Babe.."

He looked up and licked the ice cream off his lips.

"Yeah?"

I giggled again.

"Can I talk to you about something? I really need to vent."

"Is that even a question? Of course you can baby. You know you can talk to me about anything.." He said softly.

"What's up..?"

"Well, there's this kid in my class named Bailey...and although he doesn't talk much in class he an amazing student. He gets 100 on most of his tests. He is an amazing student."

"Well that's good." He said with a smile.

I nodded.

"It's great! But..today I told them to read a few pages in the book they're reading, and he told me he wasn't sure if he was gonna be about to get it done. He said that his dad wants him to help with the farm, and that he says the crops are more important than school...and..Bailey loves school..."

Michael nodded, his chin in his hand.

"Well I guess that is a problem isn't it.."

"Yeah.." I said looking down at my ice cream and poking it with my spoon.

"And I just want what's best for him..and I don't understand why his father wouldn't want that either..."

He nodded once again.

"Well, why don't you go talk to the father. Ya know? Go and talk to him about how good Bailey is in school, how much he loves it and that his education is a very important. I'm sure that the crops are important to, but his education will make his future."

I sighed, nodding.

"That's what I'm gonna end up having to do."

He took my hand and rubbed it softly.

"Don't worry baby. Everything will be okay.."

I sighed and got up, throwing my cup away.

"I know...are you ready to go?"

I said with another sigh.

He nodded, finishing up his cone, and stood.

He took my hand as we walked back to the car, and I rested my head on his shoulder.

To be honest, I'm a little nervous to meet Bailey's parents.

The stress of Andrew, work, Bailey and the fact that Michael wants to have another baby, and I might be pregnant is really killing me.

Wait...

...did I just say that out loud..?
