Chapter 28

Michael's POV

No way. There is no way this is happening.

"Michael, meet Donavan, or Donny. He is your son."

I stared at her in disgust.

"That child is not mine. I used protection!"

She scoffed.

"Yeah.. Protection with a hole in it." She said folding her arms.

I ran my fingers through my hair then looked at the kid.

He really did look like me.

Short, black, curls like when I was younger.

A tan skin tone with brown eyes.

I sighed.

"You can...come in." I said opening the door wider.

She smiled and took Donavan's hand, walking into the living room.

I closed the door and followed.

She sat on the couch with him and I say across from them.

She looked at me and smiled, I glares her smile down.

"Okay, fine. Michael, Donavan is 4 years old. I found out I was pregnant a month and a half after our night-"

"It wasn't our night. It was a mistake."

She sighed as Donavan played with his action figure.

I watched him make the man fly up in the sky then looked back at Diana.

"I wanted to tell you sooner, but you had moved so I didn't know where you lived. But when I saw you last night at the restaurant, I followed you home to find out where you lived. Then I told Donavan I had found you. He was so excited!"

Donavan smiled.

"We found you daddy!l"

I stood up angrily and pointed a finger in his face.

"I'M NOT YOUR FATHER AND I NEVER WILL BE! DON'T YOU EVER CALL ME THAT!" Suddenly his bottom lips start to quiver and his eyes exploded into tears.

His crying echoed through out the house.

Diana scoffed.

"What the hell Michael?! Why did you yell at him?!" She said picking him up, rocking him. "He's your son!"

"HE'S NOT MY SON!!" I yelled as the smoke alarm went off.

I groaned and remembered the Bacon.

I ran into the kitchen and took the bacon off the stove, turning it off.

Diana walked into the kitchen holding Donny.

I turned around and glared at her.

"Get. Out... NOW!"

"No! He is your child and you need to take care of him!"

"I WANT PROOF!!"

"I know he's yours! Just look at him!"

I groaned.

"I wanna do a DNA test!"

"NO!"

"YES! I will call you with Details now get out."

She groaned, grabbing her purse and walked out the door, Donny still in her arms.

I sighed and leaned over the kitchen sink.

I sprayed my face with cold water and sighed.

This can't be happening.

Suddenly I felt two arms wrap around my waist.

I jumped then gently turned around, realizing it was Aimee.

"Goodmorning honey.." She said sleepily.

"Good...morning..." I said giving her a kiss.

"Were you trying too cook again baby?"

She giggled, pulling away.

We looked at the burned bacon and toast, and no eggs.

"Um.. Yeah. I got a bit distracted."

"That's okay. I'll cook!" She said grabbing a pan and started cooking.

I sat at the counter and ran my hands through my hair tiredly.

This isn't happening.

This has to be a dream.
