Final Chapter
Aimee's POV
I Laid in Michael's arms outside, on our blanket looking at the stars.
He sighed and tightened his arms around my waist.
I turned my body and laid on my side, looking at him, his arms still around me.
"What?"
"Can this life get any better?" He said touching my face and rubbing my cheek with his thumb.
I smiled and kissed his cheek.
"I don't think so."
We both giggled.
"How's that song coming along?"
"Pretty good."
"Can I have a peek?"
"Hmmmm...." He said kissing my cheek.
'There's a fee."
I giggled, knowing what he meant, and kissed his lips.
I smiled and cuddled in his arms, my head on his chest as he sang to me.
"She's was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene."
I smiled listening to my husbands angelic voice.
I smiled.
This is perfect.
Now, going through all this, I know that this nothing can come between us.
He's my peanut butter to my jelly, the Oreo to my milk, the person I'm supposed to be with.
I smiled as he continued to sing, snapping his fingers to keep a beat.
Suddenly I felt a drop of water hit my face.
Then another and another.
Michael stopped singing and looks up.
He sighed, obviously annoyed.
"Every where I go it's raining! I'm telling you!"
I sighed then laughed.
"No it's not."
"Yes it is Aimee... I'm telling you."
I giggled.
Michael sat up as the rain continued to come down in buckets.
"Where are you going?" I said looking up at him.
"Inside. Don't you wanna go in?"
"No, I wanna lay out here in the rain, it's romantic." I said as I pulled him back down to me.
He giggled and repositioned himself as I laid in his arms.
He started singing again as we laid there more often.
I looked up at him and he smiled.
"You know what would make this life better?"
"No what?"
"If we did this more often..."
"Did what?"
I smiled.
"Singing in the rain...."
