Eva's POV

I stood dumb founded, confused as a tidal wave of emotions and memories rushed over me.

The dance studio.

It was now worn out and messed up. Debris lay scattered around, but the floor. The floor where I danced with cody. When it all happened. I missed this place. I was now 21 and I never even thought back to this place.

This place is the reason all this happened.

I grabbed Cody's hand as we suddenly swayed in motion with each other even though no music was playing. I chuckled at heart when I stepped on his shoes. Boy this was an amazing feeling.

Here dancing to no music with the one you love at th place where you first met.

Gosh I thought I'd be on tumblr all day.

We were suddenly sweaty with perspiration and our foreheads touching his hot breath fanning on my face. My hands pressed on his chest. Ed sheeran singing in the background.

I paused and took in every detail of this moment.

The way Cody's cologne smells good when he's even sweating.

The way his hair is perfectly perfect and his face still, no emotion shown. Which probably isn't the best for me since I have to read him like a book.

Cody's POV

I waited for Eva to finish dressing up as I walked down the beach. I couldn't help but daze off. This beach was dreamy and hypnotizing. I found myself down by the rocks. Damn those rocks.

Eva exited the house in a loose floral top and jean shorts and flip flops with a pink hoodie in her hand.

"Ready?" I smiled.

It was about 8:46 and I really had nothing planned. I just wanted to be with her.

I actually didn't even get her a gift.

I need to stall her so I can go stop by somewhere and pick something up.

----

We went down by the pier and the board walk. The beach was gorgeous and the stars were out. We stopped by the food stands and grabbed hot dogs and chili cheese fries. I remebered when Eva told me she loves fair food.

Far off I spied a jewelry stand. I need to get there.

On the way to the store I passed a photo booth.

"Hey Eva want some pictures?" I smiled. It felt good to say her name and smile.

"Of course" she stiffened under the chilly wind and put on her sweater.

I smiled into the camera and leaned closer to Eva.

The booth was small and stuffy and I found my hands awkwardly placed on Eva.

I turned to appologize when I was caught suffocating in her green eyes.

Suddenly all I saw were those green eyes and her pouty lips mocking me.

I grabbed her chin and kissed her. Slowly than more harder. I awkwardly smirked and laughed as the camera clicked away.

"Eva I need to go get something really fast, I'll be right back!" I called. I dialed the name to the store and made a personal order knowing that it should be done but the time I reach it.

----

As I made my way down to the shop a teddy bear caught my eye.

It was simple but had words engraved on its heart. "Love is simple love is a souvenir. Once given never forgotten, never let it disapeer."

I grabbed a bouquet of red pink yellow and white roses. I paid the money and ran toward the jewelry shop. Boy I was excited. I grabbed the box and looked at it once more before I out it away. It was a huge silver heart engraved with Eva and saying the date. I was going to give this to her and hopefully she will understand I'm trying to ask her out.

------

I turned the corner to find Eva sitting on a bench.

Making out with

Ben.
