Chapter 2

Eva's POV

BEEP BEEP BEEP

My alarm clock continued to beep, I groaned as I turned around. Slamming my hand hard against the snooze button. I looked at the time, 11:45. Shit. I ran to bath room quickly showering and brushing my teeth. Not bothering to add makeup, I put my hair up in a bun and put on a t shirt and sweats. I grab an apple and my keys and go to my car.

I had an appointment to cut my hair and do some shopping. Tonight Cody would be picking me up and taking me some where. I mean it's not like I care what he thinks about me. But I have an opportunity to prove I'm not a sweaty pig who forgets to put gas in her car.

It was 6:45, Cody would be here at 7:00.

I put on a thin layer of foundation, powder, also a thin layer of eyeliner slightly winged out, with some mascara and red lipstick. Not bothering to put on blush since I'd probably being doing that all night. I had straightened my hair and wore a black high waisted bubble skirt with a plain black tank top and red toms. Since I didn't know where Cody was taking me, I hoped I wasn't over or under dressed. I sprayed on my favorite perfume, Gucci Guilty.

The door bell rang at 7:03.

I opened the front door and my heart quickened when I saw Cody there. He was wearing khaki shorts and a teal colored muscle top, that showed off his toned arms. He had a huge smile on that showed each of his pearly white teeth. As always I just got lost in his beautiful green eyes.

"Hey," Cody casually said. Which made my heart beat even faster as if it already wasn't fast enough.

"Hi," I said tried to hide my blush and act as equally casual as him, which didn't really work out.

He simply chuckled. "We better get going before all the good prizes are taken."

"Prizes? Where are we going? You kinda left that out when you offered to take me somewhere." I said.

"To the fair!" He exclaimed

"Oh okay." A huge grin spreading on my face, maybe this won't be so bad.

We arrived at the fair and were in line for the ring toss, I can't wait to see Cody's arm flex when he throws the ring over the bottle.

Yay our turn! Cody grabbed three rings of multiple color and tossed the first, second and third. Making it each time. Cody won a big teddy bear and handed it to me.

"What's this?" I asked

"I have enough teddy bears as it is." He says winking.

"Well thanks" I smiled.

I lead him over to the basketball hoops. I scored each 3 times and won a gold fish. I could at least get him a gold fish.

"Here you go" I said handing him over the bag of fish.

"Aw, thank you. I think I'll name her Eva."

I laughed. Today was a really fun day, but I felt like I was getting blisters from shoes and was starving. So we headed over to the food stand and got some hot dogs. He paid for the damn hot dogs. I kinda felt bad,he paid for everything, but he did offer to even take me here, so I might as well enjoy myself. I was ready to go home, it was a great night but I was tired.

"AW PLEASE WE HAVE TO GO ON THE FARRIS WHEEL! IT'S MY FAVORITE!" Cody exclaimed

I sighed, not meeting his eyes. "I don't really feel good though."
