Owen glanced at her for a moment before putting the car in gear and heading out of the school parking lot. "I was hoping to drive for about an hour before we get lunch, is that all right?" he asked.

"Oh, that's fine, Mr. Blackbourne." Sang said, glancing at him in return before she settled rather stiffly in the seat and paid attention out the window.

"Owen." He said softly.

She blinked and glanced at him. "I'm sorry?"

"This week..." He said before pausing. "Well, you and I need to get more familiar with each other right?" He said. "And how can we do that unless you say my name. Say my name, whenever you're around me. It'll be a little awkward for us to be a dating couple unless you..."

She smiled. "Say my name." she finished. "I will apologize now for the fact that I will probably forget at times. But if that is what you would like, then I think you should say my name as well." She tilted her head and looked at him as he pulled up to a stop light. She stuck her hand out. "Hello, Owen. My name is Sang."

Owen smiled his millimeter smile and took her hand, shaking it once. "Pleased to meet you." He said, raising her hand and pressing a kiss to her knuckles. "Sang." He said softly. He was reluctant to let go of her hand even once the light changed. She was beautiful and her hand was soft in his and he honestly wanted nothing more than to hold her hand forever.

She laughed softly and took her hand back when he did let go of it. "I suspect the pleasure might be all mine." She teased as her body relaxed. "How long of a drive is it to the beach?"

"Oh, the one we're headed to is about two and a half hours away." He said.

"Sounds like it's just far enough away to let us be ourselves." She said softly, toeing off her shoes and pulling her feet up onto the seat, knees up around her chest. "I like the way you think, Owen."

He chuckled as they made their way on to the freeway. "Oh, I've done a lot of thinking about you, Miss Sore...Sang." He corrected himself. "Sorry, habits are definitely hard to break." He admitted.

"I understand." She said, reaching out and letting her hand hover over the radio. "Do you mind?" She asked. "I think we have some music road trip bonding to do." He smiled and nodded, allowing her to find something to listen to.

They talked about music as she tended to channel surf a bit in trying to find songs that they could talk about. They stopped for lunch in a little diner off the road, enjoying the company and food as they ate soup and salad before heading back out on the road.

"What?" He asked a little ways down the road again, finding her looking at him curiously.

"Just pondering a few things." She admitted. "You're a man of mystery. I'm not sure that I know as much about you as I do the rest of the family."

He pursed his lips and pushed his glasses up slightly. "Well, we still have about an hour and a half before we reach the beach house. Feel free to ask your questions." He said.

"That would involve actually having questions ready to go." She chuckled. He shrugged. She tilted her head slightly and drew her knees up again as she settled fully in her seat. "I'm not sure I know where to start."

"Tell me we belong together." He blurted, glancing at her, a tinge of pink staining his cheeks. "Sorry... I'm not supposed to be insecure about this." He mumbled.

"Why wouldn't you be?" she asked softly. "Owen, you have just as much at stake as the rest of them. Sharing me, sharing time... sharing our lives together in deep relationships." She said. "We never talk about it because whenever we manage to be together we talk about the rest of the family and our assignment, we have never dared to be boldly honest with each other. That's where my insecurity lies, that I'm not sure if you're doing this just because it makes the others happy."

"You have a good point." He said before smiling. "You know, it's a general consensus among them..."

"What?"

He shrugged slightly. "They all talk to Sean and I. The boys." His gaze held hers for a moment and she felt like he was trying to see inside her brain. "Everyone that sees you, always wants to know you and everyone that knows you always has a smile." He said. "Everyone calls you amazing." He said, his voice dropping. "But I just call you mine." He admitted.

Her eyes widened. "You do?"

He inclined his head slightly. "I do. Just not openly and publicly all the time. This week is my chance to do that." He said.

Sang smiled. "Well then, Owen... I am really looking forward to our week together." She said softly, reaching over to rest her hand on his arm for a moment.

"Are you?" He asked softly.

"Oh yes." She said. "A week at the beach with my boyfriend... moonlight walks along the ocean... the sound of the crashing of the waves at our feet while the stars and the moon come out..." she smiled at him. "Maybe we can manage to have a fire and roast some marshmallows. I just, have the strangest, strongest desire to see you eating something sticky, melty and sweet like a s'more." She said with a laugh.

"I suppose I can manage to do that at least once." He said before smiling at her. "We'll have to do a good once over at the pantry to make sure we have everything if you know what we need."

"I'm sure it will be fine." She said, falling silent to think of some questions while he paid attention to the road because it had started to rain and traffic was beginning to back up a bit.
