Michael's POV

As I got deeper into the crowd, I lost sight of my target in the sea of people. Did I actually see, what I think I saw? Was it all just a daydream and Calum was still next to me ranting about babies on planes?

A man collided with my shoulder, bringing me back to reality.

The more I looked around, the more all the faces in the crowd started to look a like.

"Fuck." I said, way louder than I expected.

Not knowing what to do I called Calum. When I pulled out my phone to call though, he was already ringing me.

"Calum." I answered.

"Where are you mate? Everyone is asking for you and I dont know what else to say-" Calum sounded really nervous since he was a terrible liar.

"I lost her." I sighed. "This crowd grew as soon as I started walking toward her and she's gone mate." I looked around again trying to find sight of her.

"Oh no." Calum sighed.

"Do you remember what she was wearing?" I asked with a glimpse of hope.

Calum remained quiet for a little while, "A red jumper." He said.

"Okay, that's easy to spot. I'll try to find her, just distract them a little longer." I said as I started my search again.

"Hurry." Calum said before hanging up.

Ashton's POV

"Were you talking to Michael?" I asked Calum as he stashed his phone away.

"No." He smiled. "It was some girl that I forgot I gave my number to." He shrugged.

"Liar," Calum was really bad at lying. I don't even know why he attempts it. "Tell Michael to get over here. He can't always disappear and adventure without us." I small smiled.

I walked back over toward Luke and John, as they worried about where Michael was.

"I will reserve the seat without him." John warned. "Maybe you should." I shrugged.

"What?" Luke said in shock. "It's just a plane seat Luke. Besides, we are all going to be together, we could just switch seats." I shrugged.

"Well, I have all day to wait." John shrugged.

"Where could he have gone off to? Is there pizza in this airport?" Luke questioned.

Calum slowly approached us, trying not to be noticed so we would interrogate him with questions again.

After a brief moment of silence, Luke cleared his throat. "I'm just going to take advantage of the fact that Michael is not here-" He started.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"John." Luke started, "I wanted to know if there was room for one more person." He said shyly.

"No wonder you waited until Michael was gone." Calum laughed.

We all knew what he was trying to do and it made me glad that in this very moment, Michael was missing. "If Michael was here, he would have probably left." I laughed.
