Ashton's POV
"Thanks John, I'll see you bright and early tomorrow." I smiled as I got out of John's car.
"Too early Ash. We have to be at the airport at 3 AM. So no parties tonight okay?" John warned.
I leaned up against the window of John's car, "No worries, we'll be too busy packing." I winked and John pulled out of the driveway.
I walked up to the door and mentally prepared myself to pack.
As I went to open the door though, it was locked. This door was never locked because someone was always here.
"Michael! This isn't funny open the door!" I shouted as I pounded on the door.
No answer.
What the hell. Michael said he would wait here until I got back and pack his shit.
Maybe he fell asleep on the sofa. I reached for the spare key on top of the door frame and opened the door.
Michael wasn't on the sofa and there was no signs of him. The house was silent.
"What the hell?" I said as I sat on the sofa. I pulled out my phone and called each of my mates but none of them answered. I called Winter too, she didn't answer either.
Giving up on my attempts to locate these assholes, I climbed up the stairs to pack up my shit.
---
"Ashton?" A voice called...
"I'm so sorry." She cried and cried. I started crying too and hugged her tightly.
"It's okay, you'll be back and I'll be here waiting." I smiled down to her, but her face was blurry.
She walked away down the street. I tried to follow but my legs fell like rocks, not allowing me to move.
She was gone.

Michael's POV
"Was it me or was that shit weird?" I asked as we sat outside the restaurant.
"No mate, that shit was weird." Calum said looking down to his shoes.
"Her mum was weird." Luke confessed.
"You barely said anything mate!" Calum yelled at me. "It was so awkward and you left the talking to someone like Luke!" He teased.
"It was so awkward. Her brothers were cool but then her parents got there and the whole house felt tense." Luke shrugged.
"I couldn't speak because I was observing Calum!" I yelled.
"Oh yeah! Then what did you see?" He asked.
"There is a huge age gap between Winter and Matthew, her mum might have been sick or drunk I'm not sure, and her dad didn't even glance at the mum." I counter out the things I saw on my fingers and Luke nodded in agreement.
"Then they started arguing and I wanted to leave." Luke laughed.
"Something is off about that family and Winter doesn't want to talk about it." Calum said
"She doesnt want to talk about how Ashton was before he met us." Luke shouted.
"She's strange. She's the only one with an American accent. Did you notice that Calum?" I teased.
Luke and Calum glanced at each other and then looked to me. "She's got to confess it on tour. It's not like she's going to have anywhere to go-" Calum started.
"She will be with us the whole time and I'm sure she'll talk about something." I said.
"Like how Ashton needs glasses." Luke smiled.
"I know! Fucking Ashton! Why didn't he ever tell us he couldn't see!" I yelled.
"We knew him before the accident and he never mentioned it then." Luke laughed.
"And it's not like we can give him shit about now because he can't remember." Calum laughed.
I pulled out my phone and had a missed call from Ashton. "Hey, did Ashton call you guys?" I asked.
Luke and Calum pulled out their phones and nodded in agreement. "I also got a call from Nicole." Luke added.
"No one cares!" I shouted as I stood up. "I'm heading home and on the way I have to think of an excuse for Ashton." I shouted as I started walking.

Ashton's POV
"I'm sorry Ashton, but I have to leave." Her voice was small and so tender.
"We need to speak before you leave. Give me at least an hour. Please, you need to hear what I have to say." I begged.
"I snuck out to say goodbye. My mom didn't even want me to say goodbye to you. I have to get home." She said.
She started walking back toward her house and I turned back toward mine.
"Ashton?" She shouted.
I turned to find her running back toward me. I met her halfway and embraced her with a hug.
"I'm so sorry." She cried and cried. I started crying too and hugged her tightly.
"It's okay, you'll be back and I'll be here waiting. Waiting to explain everything to you." I smiled down to her, but I knew her mum would never bring her back to me. Not after what I discovered, not after what I said to her.
She walked away down the street. I tried to follow but I knew if I was never going to see her again, I wanted our last moments to be happy ones and not of I ruining her life.
---
"ASHTON!" Michaels voice called from downstairs, waking me from my dream.
The same dream I've had for months now. It never made sense to me, but each time they grew more intense. It felt almost like a memory, but I had no moments or feelings like that in my life.
Michael came barging through the door and stopped at the foot of my bed. "Were you asleep?" He laughed
"Yeah mate. Where were you?" I yawned.
"Playing FIFA. I would have been home earlier but I thought you and John would take longer." Michael shrugged.
He glanced around and spotted my half empty bag. "Did you try to pack?" He laughed going over to it and going through it.
"Tried, but fell asleep." I sat up and stretched. "Well, try again. I'm going to pack mine and then the rest of our group mates are coming over in a couple hours with their shit." Michael said before standing and heading out of my room.
I decided not to tell Michael about my dream, since he had heard the same story a hundred times already.
I was just excited that we were actually starting the tour tomorrow. On the other hand, it was unfortunate that Nicole is coming and not Winter. She would have made the tour great.
