I was scared my phone was going to break because it was having an epileptic fit from all the messages. 200 new messages and counting. A lot were from Kat. Screaming about the show, she didn't watch it but Jack and his mom had and they had messaged me to about. Mom included. Everyone from my school with my number were trying to call and message me and my inbox became full. I reached for my computer and looked at my facebook. Literally one thousand friend requests from people I didn't know. Sixty relationship requests, and two thousand direct messages. I screamed out loud and shut my laptop, pushing it the other side of my desk.
Dad knocked on the door frame of my room "Are you okay?"
"Dad, why would you do this to me! I just wanted to spend time with you! I didn't want everyone to go crazy over me! Nothing will be the same you know. I won't have true friends anymore, I won't be able to walk down the street casually anymore. Shit!" I put my head on my desk. I thought about when I get home how everyone is going to kiss my ass. Use me. Isolate me in the most crowded way. I sound like a brat, but i'm aware. I just want to be me. I don't know if anyone
Dad came in and wrapped his big arms around me "Shhhhhh, Olive. Everything is fine. You have wonderful friends who won't change you or leave you. You will be fine. You will stay happy."
He whipped the corners of my eyes and bent down on one knee so he was level with me.
"The day you were born it was four am and I rushed to the hospital. I took a private jet. It cost me quite a bit but frankly I didn't mine. Your mom checked into the hospital several hours before you were born and they called me while I was in the middle of a gala. I didn't take one thing. And when I got to New York I swear to God I was there just in time. And I saw you, Olive. And you were so beautiful. And I stood there, sweating in my tuxedo. A complete mess. And you mother held you fro a long time and smiled and the doctors asked if I wanted to hold you. And I said yes. And I asked your mother. And she said yes. And I took you in my arms and you looked right at me, Olive. And I knew tomorrow I wouldn't;t see you and I cried at night for that."
I put my arms around his neck and looked right into his eyes.
"I'm here now."

It's been two weeks. Two weeks since then. I've wasted it bumming around the house. The most I did was go out for a coffee break and I had to sign two autographs. Two! It was actually pretty fun. I was in good spirits and decided to check my phone. I ignored most of the messages. Most I couldn't even place the people. I scrolled to Kat's messages.
Kat: HOLY SHIT YOU ARE ON YAHOO NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR DAD IS OMFG WILIAM VIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me: Yes, still shocked too
Kat: HOLY SHIT YOU ARE ALIVE. IT'S BEEN TWO WEEKS!
Me: I know. I'm sorry. Most of them I don't know.
Kat: Dumb plastic bitches. How are you little fame monster.
Me: Dosnen't seem like you to quote a lady gaga album
Kat: yeah, okay okay jeez. When are you coming back to NY?
Me: A week before school starts.
Kat: I gtg, see you soon.
Me: bye.
Well Kat seemed fine. So far. I sighed and sprawled out on the couch in a pile of pillows and comforters. I dug my hand into a bag of Doritos and looked back at the Disney Channel show I was watching. Dad came through the door with a box of cupcakes and a coffee.
"Really, Olive?"
I shrugged and reached for the Doritos, he snatched them up and put them on the island in the connected kitchen.
"Honestly, you've been doing nothing for days now. I want you out of this house. Go learn how to play tennis or something." He gestured to the tennis court.
"Tennis is hard." I grumbled, sinking lower into my mountain of pillows "And besides, you barley know how to play."
"Well how about you practice and then you can teach me. I brought you some cupcakes but I see you made yourself quite at home with the Doritos while I was gone so you can have these later."
"Where's Kaine?" I asked looking around.
"Day off, the whole weekend actually." Dad said, putting the red velvet cupcakes in the fridge.
"Well I work out. I go to the workout room almost everyday."
"Ah the fresh a/c." Dad said sarcastically "No, I want you outside."
Jesus, having a Dad as an actor can be confusing. I got up and went to room to change. A simple tank top and shorts. I pulled my hair into a messy bun and grabbed my phone.
"Okay, Dad i'm going." I said "I'll just be out on a run."
"That's my girl." He grinned and shit the door behind me.
