For most of my life,
I've followed an emotionless mind.
Now my heart beats loudly,
saying it's time.
I tried living my life
without opening my eyes,
but now I know that change
is something to like.
I know I lack courage,
strength and good charm,
though I know a few ways
to bring forth harm.
I never asked for much,
only for some of your time.
So that I may preach from my heart,
and not from my mind.
